"I found this restaurant to be quite disappointing. The menu options were limited, and the server I encountered seemed completely disinterested and uninformed. I quickly realized I couldn't ask any questions about the dishes without receiving a satisfactory response, so I chose the Bulgogi platter, assuming it would be hard to mess up. To my surprise, just four minutes later, my server returned with a cast iron platter filled with warm, thinly sliced beef that had no flavor, sitting in a pool of water at the bottom. As soon as I touched the cast iron, I could tell this meal was pre-prepared and just reheated for serving. I never thought it was possible for Bulgogi to lack flavor, but somehow they managed it. If you're looking for authentic Korean food, head to 32nd Street instead and save your money here."

"This restaurant serves genuinely authentic Korean street food and delicious sushi. The yang-yum chicken, tteokbokki, galbi, and tonkatsu all have a true taste of Korea. While the pricing is a bit steep—$4 for kimchi seems excessive—it can probably be attributed to the restaurant's location. Be careful not to confuse this spot with a similar-named all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant. Some of the pictures and menus you might see actually belong to that different place. On the plus side, they provide complimentary soup with your meal, which is a nice touch. You'll place your orders at sleek kiosks near the entrance, although the categories can be a bit confusing; for example, chicken wings are listed under boxes/plates instead of appetizers."

"I 've been coming here since they first opened. Food was alright, service great.But then an ownership change happened. There was a bit of a learning curve for the new owners and you could tell in the food so I didn 't come back for a while.I recently gave them another try and have visited them five more times after coming back , because everything is SOOOO AMAZING NOW!!Service is wonderful whether it be lunch rush or dinner. And the food is DELICIOUS. Consistently so. Ingredients are fresh and food comes out hot and perfectly seasoned. Their banchan tastes homemade, their pickled shaved turnips are delightful.Try the dol shot bimbimbap which comes out sizzling, and Jajang Udon is yummy, oh and their Yum Yum Fried Chicken, lightly tossed in a gochujang sauce that has a little kick and a lot of flavor. I definitely recommend K-Town. ? ?"

"Guys, this place is an amazing gem. We had Korean bbq and oh man it did not disappoint. Our server was very kind, hospitable and recommended the boneless LA Galbi which was super clutch along with bulgogi. The service was like no other, the place was clean and our food arrived fast. We also tried a soft drink called Milkis which was A1. Tuna sushi is also great. I would definitely recommend this place. Next time we go back we would for sure post pictures along with another review."

"Came here for the first time today and I'm glad I did! I tried the bulgogi sub and it's GREAT! Delicious blend of flavors with bulgogi meat, melted cheese, grilled onions, etc. Love it. Service was also very kind and attentive to all customers. Their selection of drinks is also nice, I really like the lychee drink I got! Definitely will be back."

"Great meal! Nice staff and a great place to grab a bite, pick up, or maybe study for a bit and eat. I wandered down here and although the area had a lot of great places to eat. I really wanted to try this place because I've been wanting tofu soup for a while. I ordered their tofu soup and their sweet and spicy chicken (boneless). The tofu soup I opted to get with seafood and it was great! However, it wasn't spicy enough and I think that some spice would've really sufficed. The chicken was perfect! Although on the same sentiment I do wish it was spicier, it was cooked PERFECTLY! So tender, light crispness, and just overall great taste. I will definitely be back here. I'd love to come here get some work done and have a nice meal. Overall, I would recommend this spot!"

"When I first went into Bop and Gogi I was nervous and I had no idea what to expect. Saying that I was pleasantly surprised would be a gross understatement. Bop and Gogi had an interesting atmosphere Of Japanese culture and art, it is a beautiful and fascinating place. The food isn’t too expensive and they have a student deal for students in an adjacent school. The servers are kind and helpful. It is clear that the servers care about their job as they put in their maximum effort into the food they produce. The food looks pleasing and tastes spectacular. The food looks like small portions but will fill you up. The food does take a little time to make but that is expected when the food is being made rather then stored. Bop and Gogi is a beautiful place, with good food, and really good service. I definitely plan on going back. I definitely recommend for Asian and/or sushi food lovers."

"I've been consistently going here for ten years and their food has always been delicious. I highly recommend their Agedashi Tofu and their Lion King roll. "Surprisingly good! We decided to stop by on a whim while heading to Michael's, and we were not disappointed. We opted for the build-a-dish option, which included a miso soup with toppings to choose from, along with the bomb fries as an appetizer. The fries were delicious, complemented by a sweet and sour sauce. The miso soup was enjoyable as well, and it was fun to add different toppings. The main bowl was fantastic—very fresh, but next time I might try the hot stone option if I want my food served hot. The regular bowl was still excellent, featuring a great variety of ingredients, and while the spicy flavor wasn't very intense, it added a nice touch. Additionally, the bathroom was lovely and had a pleasant scent! Overall, I think this place has a really cool vibe, with nice decor and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it!"

"The portion sizes have me puzzled. I've been ordering from here regularly, usually getting the same items, for about a month now, particularly their bento. The last time, the spicy pork portion was very small and lacked any vegetables. Today, the spicy pork was a bit better, but still not what it used to be, and there were hardly any vegetables. The California bibimbap has shrunk to about one-third of its original size. On a positive note, the croffle was phenomenal. Even though it arrived cold, it was still incredibly delicious. I would definitely recommend the croffle to everyone."

"You should go to this place right away if you want yummy Korean food at an affordable price. Sleeping in downtown Portland as a visitor from the Bay Area, I ordered Dae Ji Bul Go Gi 13; marinated spicy pork) and Cup bap (a bowl of rice with bulgogi or pork and some side dishes) online for pick up. My wife said a “regular” Cup Bap 10) is enough (a lot) for her. Since my wife and I originally came from Los Angeles and now are staying in the Bay Area, we know Korean dishes and brown bags for that matter. Their foods are kind of authentic, one of the best, and super satisfying for most of those who like Korean cuisine. Though it seems a to-go option is only available now, it was clean inside, and the staff was fabulously friendly. If you are Korean, you will never regret ordering here. We tremendously recommend you try this place (if you are a visitor) or make it your regular (for Oregonians)!"

"My partner and I visit this cozy little restaurant every week! Even though we don’t live nearby, we happily drive out of our way just to eat here. I wish more locations like this existed. There’s something so comforting about enjoying Korean porridge on a beautiful Southern California day. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and we often see older Korean locals enjoying their meals too. Besides porridge, they serve stews, soups, bibimbap, and galbi. The mushroom bulgogi dolsot is absolutely delicious—I highly recommend it if you’re craving something flavorful. Every meal comes with banchan, and sometimes miso soup. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and pleasant. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out.
