"However, we had to wait a long time for our food, which was understandable given the busy atmosphere. The order was split, with the second half of our food taking at least 30 minutes longer to arrive. I was a bit disappointed, though, as I never saw our original bartender again after she took our food order. We were never offered a second round of drinks, and our glasses had been empty for at least half an hour. Despite this, I could tell that the bartender was skilled, and it might have just been bad timing that affected our service. I would definitely give the restaurant another chance, even though I was left wondering about the poor service I experienced. Overall, I think Nickel City deserves another opportunity to impress."

"My friend came here and this is what she said , “Lemongrass on Richland ave Lemongrass Restaurant I placed an order online for pickup. PAID for my order when I got there they said they didn't have any clue about what order I was picking up. I show them my confirmation number I show them I'm at the right location and they still don't believe me and act as if I was lying to them. You can literally see where I paid on my bank account. I'm in the car on the phone with customer service and the guy comes out and says he will make my food. Once he brings it out to me he was very rude and told me it was free food and that I didn't pay for it even though I most certainly did). I get home and start eating my food and find two metal pieces in my food” I personally ate here before and it was nasty. Never will I be back! Y’all better make that right w my friend!! ??"

"This visit was a one-time experience for us, and WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK! My friend and I were really in the mood for baked catfish and had initially planned to dine at Thien An Bo 7 Mon in Rosemead. Unfortunately, they weren 't open at the time, so we decided to give a new place, Sau Can Tho, a try. I had brought my own drink into the restaurant but was also prepared to order something else. We placed an order for the $80 baked catfish. The only issue we encountered was with our server, Mike. He seemed unhappy and pointed out that I already had a drink with me. Due to his demeanor, I politely asked for just a glass of water instead. After placing our order, we felt a bit uncomfortable because of the vibe we got from Mike, so we decided to request that our order be to-go shortly after ordering. Mike gave me an annoyed look and asked, 'So you want everything to-go? ' I confirmed that we did. Unfortunately, his attitude remained unfriendly as he walked away, showing his frustration. We want to emphasize that we remained calm throughout this situation. However, we were disappointed with the service we received. Consequently, we chose not to leave a tip because we felt that the service did not meet our expectations, and we experienced a less-than-pleasant attitude. If bringing an outside drink is not allowed or if there 's a concern about it, we would appreciate it if he was communicated to us more politely. We would have been more than willing to comply. Our intention was simply to enjoy a good meal, and we hope that future customers have a more positive experience than we did. Also is a Vietnamese translate version just in case. We really want them to know.

"Best Vietnamese food I had in USA! And I’ve had Vietnamese food in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. The price is also fantastically fair. The food is phenomenal! Unbelievably fresh and delicious. This is a hidden gem in city heights. I found out about it only by chance because of the Street vender style barbecue stand outside reminded me of my home when I was very much homesick. The spring roll, it’s only $4.75! And the roll is huge! With big shrimp and fresh pork belly inside. The sauce is the best I’ve had, very fresh and amazing. The BBQ pork and egg roll with vermicelli 52) is my personal favorite! Haven’t tried other items yet. Their avocado shake is only &3.50 and sooooo yummy in a hot humid day. Just an amazing restaurant. You’ll thank me if you go."

"This is a more traditional vietnamese restaurant compared to its neighbor tamarind tree. I love coming here for their pho, and they have long been established here for a long time. My wife loves ordering their bun bo hue. The last time I came there, they were not very busy and had two waiters. We got seated very fast and were given a set of menus and two hot green teas. We each ordered a noodle dish and it came out within 5 minutes. Overall we love the tradition of this restaurant and how long it has been here. A vietnamese classic of the chinatown little saigon neighborhood."

"This place is my go to for Vietnamese food. They have limited hours for the restaurant portion so check to make sure that they are open. Usual hours of operation are usually Friday to Sunday. This restaurant is connected to the grocery store. On the weekend the parking lot may be crowded at times but it is mostly due to people shopping at the store. I can always find a table to dine in every time I go. The food is the best deal around town for Vietnamese food that I been to so far and decent portion. Very reasonable bubble tea drinks. My kids love the pho with fries and bubble tea drinks. Their bun is flavorful compare to other places I have been to. I got bun Bo hue have with extra spicy, however next time will ask for extra sate since I love spicy."

"We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. I really enjoyed the fried spring rolls, while my fiancé loved the fresh options on the menu. He tried the spare ribs, which were a bit chewy, but I absolutely loved my shrimp and noodle stir fry—it was excellent. We'll definitely be returning. One minor downside was that it was quite chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a sweater."

"Me and my family have been coming to Tan Dinh since I was a little girl and before they were at this location. I?ve tried many different Vietnamese restaurants and this place is by far my all time favorite. I always come back lol. I get the Thai tea withno tapioca and it?s always great. Trust the reviews! The Lemongrass Wings are truly amazing. A bit pricey, but so delicious! Ialways get the Pho Ga which is Pho with chicken. The chicken broth is superior in my opinion, but that?s just preference. It?scool because they now have it to where you can order online or at your table and pay it that way which is very convenient. I?vealso tried the Korean Shortribs and the Rotisserie Chicken. Both very tasty dishes. I highly recommend them. The service is hasbeen very easy going and laid back. Never felt pressured to order and finish my meals quickly. The waiters and waitresses arealso always helpful as well."

"Our family of seven adults celebrated a birthday at Obao on Friday evening. We had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. Overall, we were treated well and enjoyed our meals, but there were a few issues worth mentioning. We started with shared appetizers for the table; Shrimp Summer Rolls, Kimchi Fries (delicious , Papya Salad, Sambal Spiced Calamari (very good . For our entrees we individually ordered; Basil Fried Rice (delicious , Crispy Pork Belly, Pad Thai (good amount of shrimp but very dry rice noodles and not much flavor , Pho Bo, Chicken Leg Comfit, Lemongrass Short Ribs (very good , Roast Duck Noodles (menu described it as flat noodles but did not say they were rice noodles. Was disappointed . Service was a little too fast, as we were still eating our appetizers when the entrees were served. For dessert we had Mango Sticky Rice, Ice Cream and Sorbets. They were really good. Our servers were fast (too fast? and attentive and the dining room was busy but comfortable."

"Wow, the curb appeal and recent reviews really set a low bar and even lower expectations, but it was actually a really good lunch. The parking lot is tiny, it is in a wierd corner that is difficult to park in. My car is anything but large, and it was tight, even a midrange SUV would need more room. The building is kinda beat up, and the neighbors are not setting you up for a fantastic date night, but that was not what I looked for.We popped in a little after 4 when they reopen after an hour break, and the floor was still wet from mopping. Place was a little older and beat up, but seemed clean (I am pretty picky) We ordered a Pork Chop rice plate, pork sandwich and combination pho. Portions were huge, and actually pretty good. Value was pretty darn high for me, the sandwich was far better and cheaper than anything from the subway next door, and the bread was just perfect. The pork chop was well marinated and cooked just right. The pho was good, we wanted the crepe but couldn't confirm if it was gluten free (obv the sandwich wasn't, that was for me and I haven't given up anything but hope)"

"I have never tasted a soup as delicious as the Hue Vegan soup at this restaurant. I am a huge fan of Vietnamese soups and this place has the best. When I used to live in the area, I would visit every Sunday and the server already knew my order. I often find myself tempted to make the 4-hour drive back just for the soup. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a regular visit. While they do offer other vegan options, the soup is so incredible that I never want to try anything else."

"Believe the hype. This place is good! It was super busy on a Tuesday night so I figured it had to be good. The service was good for it being so busy. Prompt and polite. The atmosphere is very nice. Very clean. I got the fresh spring rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious. Excellent sauce to dip them in. I got the special clear noodle bowl as an entree and my partner got shaken beef. My noodle bowl was really good. All the seafood was cooked perfect. The shaken beef was cooked perfectly. I'm probably going to order that the next time I come! Can't wait to come back and try more things!"

"Came here for a nice dinner when visiting Boston and I did not disappoint. We were looking for an Asian place and this definitely hit the spot. Inside it feels like a nice relaxed diner and the service was very friendly as we were a were in the mood for and what types of items on the menu might complement what we're feeling. I ended up on a roasted duck rice plate, which also came with vegetables. I had a flight the next morning so I wasn't sure about getting too involved with spice so I got mild, but my friend got a spicy chicken dish and that had a really nice touch of heat. For dessert we got a mango sticky rice, which was amazing. I'm also a little biased because mango sticky rice is one of my favourite desserts.Overall, if you're looking for a quick, nice Thai or Vietnamese meal at an affordable price I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant."

"The spring rolls were delicious. Food service was fast. The pho broth lacked flavor but the portions were generous. The meatballs were the good ones and there was plenty of meat for each bite. They had chili oil on the tables which was nice. The Thai basil and bean sprouts were fresh. Parking: Shares parking lot with surrounding businesses."

"Pho So 1 has become our go-to Vietnamese restaurant in our area over the years and always brings back a wave of nostalgia, so I thought it was overdue a review. We usually order a large pho and the pork chop along with a couple other dishes, and it's always a delicious dinner. While many of the worse reviews comment about customer service and discrimination, we've never experienced any rude service. Though I do have to include that I myself am half Korean, a quarter Chinese, and a quarter Vietnamese and that the rest of my family is also Asian, of various countries; so it's much less likely we would encounter any biased service. But overall, I do recommend it for a good bowl of late night pho if you're in the area."

"However, I do have one suggestion: they should invest in proper sushi containers. Both times, my sushi was packed in a regular takeout container, and during my second visit, it was quite a mess when I opened it—my sushi had rolled around inside. A dedicated sushi box would definitely help keep it intact. Next time, I plan to dine in and try one of their entrees to see how that tastes."

"Best Vietnamese food I've had in a long time... I been in search for a place since I left California 4 years ago and finally today I can say I found a taste like home... I had the combination Pho soup when I ate there, and it was clean and delicious not to mention my take home chicken sandwich ... and I can almost say it's better than Lee's sandwiches... tall order I know... but this little hole in the walk has one of the best tasting food I've had in a long time... my husband ventured into their Chinese menu and he was also not disappointed best Chinese he's had also in a long time!!! Definitely recommend!!! Oh and the ice coffee!!!! Delicious!!!!"
