"I love Indian food, but I think now that a) I don't know authentic Indian food, or b) Haveli Cuisine has its own style. Whatever it is, I will be careful from now on to recommend only this kitchen to those who can take very spicy dishes. Haveli Cuisine has taken over a shell that used to be a good Indian restaurant years ago, then another, then Italian. Although clean and bright, the decor is very basic, with not much ambience. The menu is large, with a curious selection of traditional Chinese dishes. The Samosas are very sharp! Only two of our parties managed them. All we tried was excellent. When it came to tempt, I asked what was the least spicy dish that I ordered, as I often ate it and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I couldn't even eat five bites. Only one (one Chinese selection) was not sharp from the three other participants at the table. That doesn't distinguish a place, but I didn't expect a normal tasted dish to be sooo hot! What will probably kill this restaurant is the lack of an alcohol license - no beer, no wine, no drinks."

"One of my favorite spots on Devon for snacks and sweets is definitely King Sweets. I've been enjoying their aloo samosas and sweets since I was a child, thanks to my Pakistani parents. Now at 23, I can say that these treats were a staple during Ramadan and Eid celebrations every year. There's simply nowhere else that matches the quality of their sweets and samosas; they set the standard! I recently tried their Halwa Puri, and it was delicious as well. With so many long-standing businesses shutting down on Devon, it truly warms my heart to see King Sweets still thriving. I hope they continue to prosper so that my future children can also enjoy their offerings. I’m sharing a photo of my father and my little 5 or 6-year-old self getting sweets from King Sweets to share with our relatives for Eid in the early 2000s! (I remember the owner even gave us some extra packaging free of charge back then!)"

"Only the snacks were good. Being a guest there I felt the food was very bad. At the end of the party I saw how all the foods were thrown away. The food is the main thing. Also the music system didn’t work. All we wanted was a good party. They promised many things to do but ended up doing nothing. Personally we won’t prefer this place. The hall is very pretty but music, dance, food drinks makes it more special and everything got spoiled. Even the drinks were finished which they were supposed to provide according to their thing. I feel bad for my friends and being a human would like to share our experience and point of view as a guest.Thanks"

"Starting from the food to customer service everything was absolutely top-notch. It was an incredible experience ordering from Bar BQ Village and I would order more in the coming days. I placed a catering order with them and Mr. Hassan Kitabi and his father helped out with everything. They are some exceptionally great people and would love to help their business out more. I would highly recommend everyone to try out their Grill Items and Kebabs. Specially their Chicken Charga, Chicken Biryani, Bihari Kabab, and many more. The Bar BQ Platter they offer is the perfect deal for me. The prices are very good and the food is AMAAAZING MashaAllah. "Just like Buddy the Elf qualifies maple syrup as a food category, I think açaí smoothie bowls are one of my own food groups. I could eat one every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. So when Cafe Açaí was nearby and I was really needing sustenance, it was as easy as realizing New York Santa was an imposter (please refer to the movie Elf if you don?t understand). Cafe Açaí is pretty cute, and they have more than just açaí. But as I was looking at the menu for bowls, it was a little difficult to read and decipher, because of the weird way it was laid out. And compared to other açaí places I?ve been, it seemed that their bowls had less toppings than most places, so it?s extra to add them which is never bueno. But besides having meager original toppings, the bowls themselves are HUGE. My cousin and I both got one and neither of us were able to finish them because we were way too full. But they were good- like I said, I?m always happy with açaí!"

"Delicious Pakistani and Indian dishes! This place was bustling and while the indoor seating was small, there was plenty of seating outside. This area looks like it was modified for COVID to allow for outdoor dining. Benches were positioned under gazebo structures with fans. Great little spot to eat outside. We ordered Chicken Tikki Masala and Beef Chabil Kabab Sizzler. Also ordered their famous Chai tea which was delicious. Nice gem in the Palo Alto area."

"Last Friday me and my family went out to Karachi Broast for dinner. We were with two small children. We walked in at 7:30 pm. The outside temperature was 31F and the inside temperature was also 31F too. The place was freezing cold. All guests were forced to stay in their jackets because they were out of heat. We ordered right away but there were only two cooks working in the kitchen. Just one server, who was also running back and forth in the kitchen, taking phone calls, working on the cash register, packing the food for the long line of Uber eats drivers. No one was there even to clean the tables. At 8:25 pm after an hour of the long wait, the server told us, just 5 minutes. After 1 hour and 25 minutes, the server informed us that we are 2nd to next in line. Other people were canceling their order and leaving too. After an hour and a half of a long wait, we left the restaurant without having dinner. They have no respect for the dine-in guests. The only thing they care about is making Uber eats clients happy. Horrible experience. Either they should hire more people or close the place down. Please don't go there in cold weather with family and especially on the weekends for dinner."
