"TLDR: This is not my Vietnamese mother in law’s food. Very disappointing. We chose to dine in and were excited about the menu. Almost slipped twice as we walked in—they had just mopped and had no caution signs displayed anywhere. There also was noone else dining in. This should have been our biggest red flag. They were out of Banh xeo. Iced coffee was justokay. Pennywort juice (rau ma) $3.95– thick and grainy? Either it was not filtered correctly or they made it from powder?Took a few sips hoping the texture would change then tossed it. Chicken mint salad (goi ga rau ram) $11.95– chicken was dryand chewy and there was no cabbage! I’ve never had a Vietnamese salad this bad. Hu tieu nam vang Kho $13.99— looks great inthe photo, but the noodles were undercooked, there was no fried garlic, the sauce tasted like only soy sauce, sugar and oil, andthe soup on the side was murky. We didn’t finish this dish."

"I'm extremely picky about Banh mi and egg rolls being Vietnamese and growing up spoiled on them, and this place doesn't disappoint! Visiting from Chicago! Got a Banh mi and egg rolls for the road. The Banh mi we got was the QT special and it was delicious! Perfectly crunched baguette. Well proportioned Banh mi with all the essentials and good quality meats! I believe there were three types of meat. My favorite on any Banh mi is the pate and they nailed it. The veggies were pickled well too! Really really well done it's hard to find the perfect banh mi with the perfect proportions and crunch and I think this place does it! The spicy tofu egg rolls were good too! They were so tiny which I wasn't expecting but each order comes with 4 so it rounds out. Good crunch and filling. Spicy kick but not too crazy spicy. If someone told me I had to go vegetarian, my diet would consist of these!! Found this place through a recommendation from my friend and highly recommend!"

"The great appeal about pho is its combination of unique flavors at a cheap cost. When I saw that the bowl of pho was $12 (with only two other meat options for an extra $1 each), my expectations soared. I really wanted to like this place. From the get go, the place does not offer any Thai basil as the embellishments. For even less money, I could get a much larger bowl for around $10. The broths flavor was fine but the temperature of the broth was warm. It barely cooked the meat and the mung bean sprouts retained its crunch and funky flavor (which dissipates if it gets slightly cooked in the broth). A broth at the right temperature would naturally fog up my glasses. This did not do that. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here and while I might try some of their other dishes in the future, I will definitely go somewhere else for pho."

"The place to go to for their Spicy Fish Pho! That's cod in a vegetarian flavorful spicy broth with rice noodles and bean sprouts, similar to Beef Pho which they also have and you can get the Fish soup also with meat broth on request. All their Phos are gluten-free. "I've only tried one dish here so far: the duck sandwich, and I've had it several times. It's so outstanding that I haven't felt the need to order anything else, though I did get a pork sandwich for a friend once, and they enjoyed it. The duck meat is juicy, flavorful, and absolutely perfect. It’s not the easiest place for me to get to, so I usually ride a Citibike from the East Village just to enjoy this sandwich. I suppose I should branch out and try more items eventually. But honestly, I absolutely love this sandwich!"
