"After asking a few questions, I decided to go for the biscuits and gravy, since it’s one of my favorites and seemed reasonably priced. I also added a side of link sausage, which turned out to be an excellent choice; it was one of the best I've tasted in the past five years, especially outside the South. The scratch-made gravy was filled with sausage and bursting with flavor. I had asked if they made their own biscuits, but they actually get them from Grateful Bread. They were light and fluffy, tasting as if they were freshly baked that day—absolutely perfect for soaking up the gravy. I truly enjoyed every bite.
However, the side of potatoes felt a bit overcooked to me, although that could just be a matter of personal preference. The sausage links, which I couldn't identify the producer of, were also delightful—richly seasoned with sage and other herbs. If I knew where to get them, I would definitely want to stock up.
Overall, this was a fantastic and unexpected find that I plan to revisit. Although we live about an hour away, we definitely intend to return for breakfast or another meal in the near future."
