"Would not recommend. 1. The guys behind the desk checked us into a room, once we got up there someone else’s stuff was in there!!?? He checked us into a room someone was already staying in!!! Made us feel extremely unsafe about our stay and property. He did then find us a new, unoccupied room. 2. The rooftop boasts very loud, bassy music all night. Til at least midnight. Good luck getting any sleep in the hotel rooms. 3. The walls are so thin we heard the neighbours conversations, crying and phone alarms even. 4. Someone was smoking weed in the room beside us and you could smell it right through our room. 5. All in all a very unpleasant stay and we will not return, nor recommend anyone to stay at Mamas Shelter LA. 6. The staff were polite and friendly however. 7. The whole area is gross and we felt very unsafe walking around, with homeless people in tents and on the side of the road and people effected by drugs calling out"
