"I don't know man, I'm not understanding how this place isn't rated higher. It's excellent. For starters, this is located in the basement of the awesome Giraffe Hotel. From the outside, it seems almost basic, but once you walk downstairs you're transported and it's gorgeous. Beautiful bar, plenty of space, dim lighting, nice furniture, great overall decor, truly. Look im not an expert with interior design I don't know how you want me to describe it but it's nice, ok?! Sheesh get off my back. I'm kidding sorry, I was just feeling insecure about my description. Let's move on amicably, but you've been warned. Seriously though, I've been here a few times and each time I've really had a great meal. Today, the restaurant was dead empty which is borderline comical considering across the street there was a 2.5 hour wait for hillstone. We (the voices in my head and I) came straight to B T (nickname status) and im glad we did. Tonight, I had their steak with fries which was delicious as well as a nduja pizza (idk wtf nduja is either or if im even spelling it right) and some pasta. All delicious, fresh etc. The service was also great. Honestly, it's crazy this place has below 300 reviews and only 4 stars because based on that alone I might be inclined to try something with a flashier Yelp page but man this is a great restaurant. Give it a shot you won't be disappointed 5 stars."

"After another 15 minutes, she finally took our drink and dinner orders, which felt a bit off—drinks usually come first, right? I ordered a $75 bottle of Prisoner wine, but it took 25 minutes for it to arrive, along with some more awkward jokes from our waitress. When she asked if we wanted bread, we eagerly said yes, but after 40 minutes, we still had neither bread nor dinner. Eventually, the bread arrived after another 25 minutes, but our meals were still nowhere in sight. At this point, we had been waiting for over an hour! Finally, our dinners showed up 25 minutes later. We had our meals, but then we sat there for ages without any further attention from our waitress. After 45 minutes of her absence, I had to call over another waiter to see if we could get some service. We ended up ordering dessert through him because our original waitress was MIA. Just as dessert was on its way, our nervous waitress reappeared and asked if we wanted dessert. I had to inform her that we had already placed an order. Another 30 minutes passed without any dessert. Frustrated, I approached the manager, who clearly recognized there was a problem with the service. When our dessert finally arrived, I asked for the bill, half convinced they might serve breakfast at that point! To their credit, the manager was very gracious and took the wine off our bill, which was a nice gesture. This was our third visit to the restaurant, but it was the first time we encountered such poor service. The food is usually good, so I would suggest giving it a try, but let’s hope they can improve the service."
