"1. The house salsa is incredible—truly the best I've ever had! 2. I wanted to try the pupusas but was unsure which one to choose since there were so many options. The staff member recommended the pork, and it was absolutely to die for! So flavorful, especially with the sauce that accompanies it—amazing! I would have been satisfied with just that for my meal. 3. I noticed chicarrones and yuca on the online menu, but it wasn't listed in the restaurant. When I asked, I found out it was available, and it was delicious! Crispy chunks of fried pork and yuca—so tasty! 4. I didn’t get to try the chicken chimichanga because I was already full from the pupusas, so I took the leftovers home. I’m planning to have them for dinner tonight, and I have no doubt it will be fantastic. 5. The best part of my experience was the comfortable atmosphere, delicious food, and affordable prices! This place has officially become my new go-to spot! A big thanks to the team at Maya's Place for their friendly service and outstanding food!"

"The tacos are always generously filled, and I love the cucumber and radishes that come with them, along with the addition of nopales (cactus). The pozole is amazing—what I really appreciate is how the pork is chopped into evenly cubed pieces. I felt like I could keep eating the soup forever because it was so hearty, and the portion sizes are very fair for the price. The house hot sauces are consistently delicious, and everything we've tried has been flavorful and satisfying. Next time, I plan to try the fried fish, which looks and smells fantastic! This place is definitely a hidden gem and a must-try for authentic Mexican food lovers. The staff is also very pleasant and adds to the overall great experience."

I’ve seen the negative reviews, but my experience was completely different. My food took about 30 minutes to arrive, but the wait was definitely worth it. Everything tasted so fresh! "This is a charming little bar and nightclub that has a Spanish vibe. The atmosphere is lively, and the women who work there are stunning. One woman in particular caught my eye—she has a striking tattoo on one of her arms and is absolutely gorgeous. "I ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight and was very impressed. The pupusas were delicious and full of amazing flavors. The beef nachos surpassed my expectations with grilled steak sticks instead of ground beef, fresh jalapenos, fried beans, and real melted cheese (even crispy chips upon delivery). The only downside was that I ordered 3 pupusas but only received 2."

"I give it 3 stars for the atmosphere since we only ordered delivery. We were a bit hesitant about the restaurant being located in a Mobil gas station after we had already placed our order, but I have to say, it was really good! We tried the El Pastor and beef (ground beef) burritos. The side portions of salsa, sour cream, and jalapeños were bigger than we anticipated. We ordered the double-burrito specials, and they were packed with meat, rice, cheese, guacamole, beans, and fresh cilantro. I would definitely recommend ordering takeout from here. Keep in mind that with tax, tip, and GrubHub fees, the total came to nearly double the price. However, unlike what others have mentioned, our GrubHub driver was on time and very friendly."

"The young woman at the door was quite rude and showed a lack of respect toward me as a customer. When I requested to speak to someone in charge, she refused to help. Instead, I was abruptly told to just text a certain number to request a refund, and that someone would process it immediately, while security was trying to usher me away from my table. I wasn't the only one upset; several other patrons at the door were also frustrated by the sudden price hike. I've since learned that this restaurant has a reputation for making such last-minute changes for events. After texting the designated number, I was informed that my refund would be processed at the end of the night, but it ended up taking a whole week. I had to call and text daily to finally receive my money back. This is not how a business should operate."
