"I frequest this place because they have in my mind the best fried fish tacos on the peninsula. On my most recent visit I also ordered super nachos but had asked to have the chips, pico, guacamole, and creme set on the side because I live 30 min away and didn't want the chips to get soggy. The server obliged with adding an additional fee for I believe the extra containers which I was fine with. After getting home and prepping our dinner I found he forgot to put chips in the bag which totally made this visit a bad experience overall."

"That was a real disappointment. It was very cold. The cashier finished some food and used her sip to wipe her hands. Then I wondered that I made my Burrito 'wet', and she didn't 'wet' and answered my question with a frying. The prices are not clearly displayed, and there is no actual dotted receipt. To the food. Two thumbs. A dry bean and cheese burrito. No season. Only beans and cheese that was lukewarm. Save time and money and skip this place."

"The restaurant is tidy and serves authentic Mexican cuisine. Their homemade tortillas are excellent, and a delicious salsa accompanies the chips. While some knowledge of Spanish can be helpful, the owner communicates well in English. I tried the Chile Rojo and my wife opted for a tostada. Both dishes were impressive. The Chile Rojo features red chili peppers, and the beef and sauce alone are quite flavorful. If you pair the meat with some of the peppers, it adds a bit of spice, which I personally enjoy. The service was excellent; although our waitress had limited English, my basic Spanish allowed us to communicate effectively, and she got our order perfect. We will definitely return for another meal."

The prices are better than reasonable for Downtown Los Angeles. "I am extremely happy with the service at La Hacienda! There was an error with my order, and after receiving no assistance from DoorDash, I reached out to the restaurant directly. To my surprise, the manager personally delivered the correct food to me—how impressive! I’m done with DoorDash for good, but the Burrito Mojado was cooked to perfection, and the melted queso blanco on top was just right. "Excellent service at an 'ok ' Mexican style restaurant. We are in the Bay Area, the bar for solid Mexican food is very....VERY high. We popped in for lunch over the holiday break to a very quiet restaurant. The very friendly staff made sure that chips and salsa did not stop flowing. We had the trio of tacos, the flautas and some chicken tamales. Everything was, ok. I found myself piling extra salsa on the tamales to give them some extra umph. I think I also added extra salsa on everything. Come to think of it, the salsa was pretty darn great. Everything else, needed some juiciness and extra flavor. The refried beans were the stand-out star, and that should tell you something."

"I visited this restaurant in early November and had a great experience. The place was clean and the service was excellent. I have a few favorite spots in the Bay Area that I usually stick to, but I decided to try something new this time. We were craving burritos so we stopped here, which had a different style than what we're used to in the Bay but still enjoyable. The presentation of the food was nice, although I was surprised to find only one salt shaker in the entire restaurant. I prefer limes and salt with my food, so I wish they had provided some packets. I liked the digital menu screens and the simple, colorful menu. I ended up ordering nachos while my husband had a chicken burrito and tacos. He didn't even get to finish his burrito because my son said it was really good! Overall, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant."
