"When we arrived, we waited about five minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. We both ordered margaritas, which were the special that day. While it took ten minutes for our drinks to arrive, we didn’t mind since we weren’t in a hurry. However, when April returned about fifteen minutes later to take our food order, her demeanor shifted and became a bit rude. She mentioned that our drinks would be out shortly, but they took longer than expected, and we began to feel frustrated, especially since we’ve never encountered such an issue before. When our food finally arrived, everything appeared fine. I asked April for some napkins, but she never brought any, so I had to request them from someone else, who promptly provided them. After we finished our meal, it took a while for her to bring us the check, despite us asking for it twice. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and it has left both my husband and me hesitant to return."

"The food was decent at this restaurant. I ordered the supreme dish while my family ordered combo plates. I have had better Mexican cuisine before, but being from Arizona, I may be a bit spoiled when it comes to flavors. The dishes seemed a little on the bland side to me, but overall it was still good. However, the prices were quite steep. A family of four should expect to spend over $100 plus extra for drinks. There was even a sign indicating that the prices were higher than what was listed on the menu. I personally think they should update their menu to accurately reflect the prices. With all that being said, I am unsure if I would return to this restaurant."

"Dinner tonight was prettty good! Quite crowded on a Friday eve and we did have to wait 45 mins for our food but the generous chips and salsa kept us occupied! I liked my marg but it was pretty standard in flavor and price. Our vegetarian entrees were both decent, veery cheesey and the side salad was fresh and a good crisp addition to the meal. Churros were also good and a steal- $4 for 4. Dinner prices were very reasonable. Our server Aaliyah did a great job despite the rush! Pleasantly surprised by Senor Patron for texmex."

Mexican food girly Literally the food is just okay, some dishes are better than others but there is a dish with shrimp cheese that’s really good. The enchiladas are okay so are the quesadillas. "This is our go-to spot for amazing food and a fantastic atmosphere. They truly make you feel like part of the family here. The food is excellent—make sure to try the alambre street tacos; you'll thank me later! The salsa is exceptional, and the margaritas are incredibly good! Just be ready to take your time, as they don't rush you, especially if you're seated downstairs. But trust me, it's worth it, or I’ll eat my weight in tacos (which I might do even without that promise). Also, parking is convenient, and if you make a quick stop at the nearby gas station, you can grab some of the best coffee you'll ever taste! Plus, the JeffCo library is just around the corner, so you can indulge in tacos, coffee, and a great book all in one trip!"

"So I am new to the area. I like to try compare restaurants especially w/ so many Mexican restaurants available. I went in around 10:15 pm, only 2-3 customers. I ordered guacamole with chips 3 tacos. The guacamole was full of large pieces of onions, more onions than avocado. And for the amount they serve you the price they're charging it's a rip off to give so little avocado and try to mask it by loading it with onions. The tacos lacked flavor and were skimpy with the meat. Even the sauces did not taste flavorful. And let me tell you I was starving, which usually at that point everything tastes like a gourmet meal. Not in this case. Just go down the block and head to Grito instead."

"My buddy has a lethal allergy to shrimp and requested to buy a dish with shrimp removed from it. He made his allergy very very clear. It was brought to him with shrimp anyways. They then took it back to the kitchen, removed the shrimp, and sent the dish back. This caused my friend to have a non-threatening reaction. Also the waiter called him Gordito (fatty) as my friend is overweight. Simply put, would not recommend. Food is also mid."

"About to destroy this take out! The Savior of North Durham when it comes to those looking to satiate their craving for consistently delicious Mexican food! "Delicious Mexican food in a beautiful modern restaurant. I had the chicken fajitas and found them to be well seasoned and delicious. I especially enjoyed their homemade tomatillo salsa verde drizzled on my fajitas. My son had the chicken burrito with cheese sauce added to it. He said that it was great. The chips and salsa were good as well. My son ordered a large order of the cheese dip and it had a really good flavor. Our server took great care of us.
