"I'm not going to lie, the first time I went I told myself I would never return. There were so many fruit flies there I thought i was really south of the border! My last few trips though I went in the winter and they seemed to have it under control. I have had many things. Here are the things you can skip; wings and queso dip, unless you have a mediocre passion for those items they are meh. The fiesta burrito though. DAT FIESTA BURRITO, the clouds part when it arrives with the side of re-fried beans and rice. The burrito if filled with fatty pulled pork, topped with cheese sauce is dream worthy. I tasted it for the first time because my friend ordered it. It was like the beautiful girl from across the room at prom that finally asked you to dance. I only got a taste, but I came back craving for more and ordered one for myself. But enough about that. If your 21+ and have a DD grab one of their grande cervezas, come in a cold mug and maybe even order a few rounds of 1800. The staff is very friendly and the server is very prompt. I would compare this place to other restaurants like El Loro or El Toro, but its better. The quality of food is better and the items are actually distinctively different. Unlike El Toro/Loro with red or green sauce poured over everything then placed with cheese under a salamander. Final Word: I will be back. I will check it out when the weather warms up to see about their fruit fly issues and report back. If they are as bad as last time, most likely will not be back for food. If you get ONE thing get the BURRITO!"

"Came here for Cinco de mayo, service was fast but incredibly rushed even when we ordered a $50 margarita pitcher. I understand it's probably the busiest day for them but common... We didn't feel comfortable and we left after ordering 2 appetizers. Small portions and expensive for just Mexican food. Staff was nice except for one server who is probably the owner, had no idea what she was doing. Sorry but we're never coming back again. Better to just get some taco truck food and get $20 pitchers at Lucky 13..."

"Just to clarify about the 4 star service. My server was wonderful I just had to wait for the fabulous Pina Colada a bit too long. Not sure if the bartender was on break but when I was finally served WOWZA. THE Best! The shrimp cocktail was authentic but next time I'll remember to ask for no ketchup in mine. I still enjoyed it with a little ugh remembering that's how it's made in Tijuana and Mexicali. I'll come back for the Colada ..this coming Monday!! I can't wait!!"

"For sure the Best and nicest Mexican restaurant Around King’s Island me, my wife and both of our daughters went there yesterday and my youngest daughter got one of their burgers and fries and it was probably one of the best ones of we’ve had in a while. "If you enjoy being served by immature staff, this might be the place for you! While the food is usually quite good, the service leaves much to be desired. Our most recent experience was particularly frustrating, as the server seemed more focused on how much extra food he could get for his friends who were in front of us, rather than attending to our order. Despite requesting chips and queso multiple times, they were never prepared. By the time we reached the register and asked again, of course, they were out, and a new batch would take quite a while. It seems like he had given the extra queso to his friends for free. The manager on duty did attempt to rectify the situation by offering us a couple of coupons, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the subpar service we encountered and have repeatedly witnessed at this restaurant."

"When i traveled to Tulum mexico in Feb of this year i tried bririas for the first time it was so sloppy and nasty, the worst briria i ever had , i was seeing everyone all over the internet eating these dipping it in the sauce and i been craving them for almost a year , i never could find a good spot but when i tell you this place has the best bririas i ever tasted , it was soooooo good , hot and wasn’t fried too soft where it could fall apart . I loveeeeeee this place bririas i been eating them going on my second time from this same place .. if you looking for bririas and the best place to get them from this is your stop."

"This was the worst experience I have ever had. We ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla and they came out with no cheese. Sent it back and the next one came out burned. We also ordered the appetizer sampler and the chips came out with very little cheese sauce and the poppers and chicken were burned. I was told this was fine. Forget about customer service!! I will not be back."

"Been to all of the El Toro's in the area, and this one I personally have to say is the best. Usually go for Taco Tuesday, but have tried many other things besides their taco special. I don't know what they do but their charro beans are the best of any of them. And the cartarito is superb, they can at least make it right not like some of the other ones. And the wait staff is excellent. I have reviewed some of the other ones but it seems since then they have gone downhill, but this one the quality is there every single time. Including there portion size is never skimped on like a couple of the others. I guess that's why I go back to this one because they do deserve my repeat business."

"Having grown up in Springfield, one of the most disappointing aspects of the area was when El Toro closed. My family used to dine here regularly for years, at least once or twice a week. The food is amazing. My go-to dish is the burrito fajitas texanas, which is both huge and delicious. I can't recall having a bad meal here. The only minor complaint might be that the tacos can be a bit underwhelming. The staff are all wonderful and they serve the best salsa and queso in town."

"I hate leaving bad reviews however buyer beware! This was my 4th and final attempt at EA! Twice pre-Covid; twice in the last 2-months. Not one meal has been worth the money. Yesterday 's Taco salad was not even eatable. There was ZERO flavor. ZERO. My husband decided to feed it to the raccoons; see attached! They thought it was okay. My burrito was also underwhelming. I 'm not trying to be sarcastic.....We 've decided Taco Bell or an Old El Paso kit does a much better job for a quarter of the price!!! As for the mood of the restaurant. It 's hysterical walking in..... There are redundant signs everywhere regarding NO MORE 1/2 PRICE MARGARITA 'S DUE TO A TEQUILA SHORTAGE! DUE TO HIGH CREDIT CARD FEEs THERE WILL BE A 3% FEE TO CHARGE ONE 's MEAL. The signs reminded me of old-school cartoons....WARNING! DON 'T ENTER! TURN AROUND NOW! Handwritten signs posting the don 't(s) are a complete turn-off. Couple that with only raccoon worthy food and it end up being a restaurant out of business. Very sad. I 'm sure the people working there need their job; too bad management is not worthy to lead the team to a successful business. I will never return. I will never recommend."
