"You know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally transports you to your grandmother's house when you were a child. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I have not found anywhere but in my grandma's kitchen. That soup, by itself, was worth the trip. The sword fish appetizer was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know, pisco sour is not Mexican, but in any case, it was very refreshing and perfectly mixed). Price wise, well you are in NYC ... 'nough said."

"Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. 10 out of 10 experiences we will come back! ????????"

"Reservations for Mother's Day, but it was a disappointing experience due to overbooking and over crowding. We were seated in the corner but the room was so crowded it made your trip to the buffet table very difficult. The noise in that room was too much for a pleasant experience. Every attempt at the buffet table they were always out of something or mostly several things. I was told that the bagels were all gone for the lox and cream cheese and wouldn't be replaced. My husband's water glass had something in it which the wait staff recognized so they took it away but he never got another glass even though we reminded the waiter. It was all due to her having so many people, too many people to serve. It was just too much and therefore not a comfortable experience. Wish we had booked somewhere else."

"This is a Syrian Arab shop that I went to this January before Covid. It is a place where you can buy a variety of Arab foods such as Lebanese bread, zaatar bread, various types of honey, cold and warm prepacked mezes, various olives, dairy products. Not to mention, there are so many types of baklava, etc. It was really cold outside, being inside talking with the funny and friendly guest and the owner, made me so warm and memorable! Besides, I bought my favorite pistachio baklava, which was so good!"

"Stopped in with the family for a few latte's, picked up a scone also. Good spot for caffeine and the owner was very pleasant. Will likely be back during our stay, as it was a convenient walk from the hotel and everything was tasty. Not far off of the Marginal Way in Perkins Cove, it's the perfect morning destination to enjoy the sunrise along the coast. Opens at 7 am, so the 6:30 sunrise is the perfect time to set out."

"a restaurant with a strange attitude. I went there with a high expectation as per other reviews. however, it was nothing like what I expected. the salad was fresh, but they don't take to-go orders. no substitute or subtracting/adding for named menus despite my allergy. they don't have the beet salad anymore. the price point was high for individual size pizzas. (between $17 and 21) my friend and I ordered a pizza and it came with absolutely no cheese at all (please see the picture). there are other nice restaurants around this store. please search throughly before you select your dining spot."
