"Located inside our hotel, the Hotel Monteleone, we were spoiled by how good their restaurant?s food was. This was our go to spot for beignets and brunch. Highly recommend staying here for the best beignets in the French Quarter of New Orleans and their award winning food. A beignet is a deep fried French pastry, with a flaky exterior (similar to an authentic French croissant) and a pillowy soft, layered interior. It?s topped with powdered sugar for an overall semisweettreat, but dipped in Praline sauce (a vanilla bean sauce with a touch of caramel) makes for a heavenly bite. Don?t bother going to Café Du Monde or Cafe Beignet, unless you prefer amusement park fried dough and sugar, this is the realdeal, French technique of a beignet. Crab Cake Benedict was made with blue crab from the Gulf, topped with poached eggs and ladled with Béarnaise sauce. Crab cakes are typically made with a ton of breadcrumbs, not enough crab meat, thiswas the complete opposite. Every bite was mainly fresh, well seasoned Cajun crab meat. Eggs benny and crab meat, what a perfect combo. Who would?ve thought?! Fried chicken and gravy, topped with a jalapeño cheddar biscuit is the way tostart a morning! Their fried chicken was so crispy and juicy, so well seasoned! The gravy was delicious, this stuff would be a Thanksgiving game changer, so rich and meaty. Dipping the biscuit into the gravy and topping it with some friedchicken made for a freaking epic bite! Can?t say enough about how wonderful the food here was. It?s a must go brunch destination! ?"

"Worth seeing from the PCH, HQ is a must to visit. They offer a wide menu and the vibe is vintage vinyl. Great music, good food staff very friendly super courtesy – loved it! Since for a quick bite before the start I was alone, but really wanted to enjoy the view and enjoy the sun. The hostess was friendly enough to provide one of the stands with the view. I was very valuable, fortunately it wasn't super busy or I would have denied. I ordered a sushi roll (yellowtail) spicy tuna crispy rice. I had the Beignets for Dessert to drink – the Raspberry Beret (contains alcohol). Sushi roll – was good. Not much to say about it. I had better – but it was certainly pleasant. I think I could say the same for the crispy rice; perhaps a little less rice than the bites were quite large (mostly rice). Still having a fair meal. Beignets are amazing!!! I am all about the desserts – this one, has not disappointed! Texture and taste were on point. They also served it with vanilla ice cream and one side of maple syrup. Service was excellent! I appreciate the attentive staff of the accommodation. The cook/cook came out and asked me how I enjoyed everything, especially to ask the beignets. I thought that was brilliant and offered a suggestion for some kind of fruit against syrup... he was totally great about it and suggested that I visit it on my return! the drink... my favorite drink until today! If you like raspberries in your drinks, this is the!!! Overall: amazing views of the beach, great staff, loved the music gently obsessed with the dessert drink... much catches my eye on the menu for my next trip!!!!"
