"Our favorite lunch spot, Schlep's, was closed for some reason so we came here instead for the first time. Their special of the day was a turkey sandwich, potato salad, and a drink for $7.99. We ordered one special to split between us. The drink cup was giant and the salad portion quite large. The turkey sandwich looked small but actually had a lot of meat. The potato salad was very good but the turkey sandwich was just OK. The sweet dressing that they used overwhelmed any turkey taste. Service was extremely quick and friendly. Since this place has been here for decades, and is in an older shopping center, the store and restaurant was quite big which was nice. Also nice was the many big windows that were very clean so it was quite bright. The facility was also clean but mildly worn and somewhat dated. We will be back."

"I purchased some of the ham slices for sandwiches for company. They were nasty. They had been cut on all four sides, and were dry, and tasted old. I was embarrassed to have served them! A week later I was nearby and bought smoked turkey. This time I didn't buy the mystery slices that were out, but had them freshly packed. Here's the thing I was going to buy the smoked turkey breast but it was waaay too expensive (and too much for two people). So I thought I'd just get slices. But apparently not many people can afford their products these days and I think the meat is going bad. The slices I bought were bad by the third day and had to be thrown out. I wouldn't recommend buying any slices they are getting rid of the old meat. And even the full turkey breast (and ham) is going to be the oldest first, so you are getting meat that won't taste good for long and will probably be dry. I would not advise getting any meat here."

"I tried the honey baked ham for the first time yesterday and ordered the classic ham sandwich. It features sliced ham with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on a croissant. It was delicious and well-balanced. They also offer a half sandwich with either a half salad or a cup of soup. However, the interior ambiance feels a bit dark and outdated."

"This was my first time ever eating here and I walked away a happy customer. I was going to try the pizza place next door and decided to see what they sold here. I'm so glad I did! The staff was friendly and even offered to let me sample anything I wanted. I sampled the savory mayo and fell in love. I got a custom made sandwich, Smoked turkey, American cheese, bacon, savory mayo, lettuce tomato on a ciabatta roll. It was amazing! I'm already planning on getting lunch from here sometime this week! Can't wait to go back! *Update.... I've been back 4 times since this first time!"

"I'm surprised that this place isn't always packed full of people, because their food is absolutely amazing! I came here a few days ago, after chatting with my physical therapist right next door. I was looking for a place with good food, and she recommended Honey Baked Ham! Mentioned something about a family meal for a reasonable price. I walked over after my appointment and ordered the family meal that came with 4 ham sandwiches, and 4 sides. The girl working in there was very helpful and sweet. I got home, and my fiancé and I pigged out. The food is so good that we are going to start coming here at least a few times a month. The potato salad is the best we've ever had, ham has great flavor, and the broccoli salad is fantastic! If you're looking for good food and want something infinitely better than fast food, come here! You won't be disappointed."

"This is the first time that I've been here. I found a gift certificate for $40 in a drawer. I asked if still good and reply was yes. I searched and read product labels and bought these items to eat later: Ham by the slice 1 for 14.99 a pound. Barbecue ribs cooked and $19.99 a slab and broccoli bake for 8.99. I owed $4 something. Service was friendly. I didn't choose loaded mashed potatoes or plain as they had a high fat content. Now the taste: ribs were good, heavily sauced, gave me heartburn hours later. I've made better on my Traeger. Ham good but super salty. Need honey mustard to balance out. Brocolli Bake with large flowerettes, seasoning, parmesan cheese and way too much lemon, otherwise good. Would order next time and add more broccoli on my own to balance out the flavor. This place would be good as a stop for special occasion meats that are precooked. If you are a good cook or smoker or griller you can probably skip. The prices are high, even cooked Turkey breast was $11.99 a pound or over $39. The location is in a dying strip mall that also lost Old Country Buffett. Maybe they need to offer more coupons. This place may struggle."

"While picking up Thanksgiving ham, I asked if any sliders available. Lady said yes, put in a bag, I paid $35. Got home I live over an hour away) and went to fix them. They were the turkey cheddar, and expired. The overwrap had a made on date of 11/13/23 and use by date of 11/17/23. I picked them up on 11/22/23.....5 days from use by date. I have contacted this store twice; no one has returned my call to attempt a resolution of me having to throw $35 in the trash. The ham was delicious, but I 'm over anything else there!"

"Not as good as I thought it would be. Tater salad was good.Tea was average. The only beverages they had was tea and sprite. cookie was above average good. Now the sandwich we got the tavern club and as you can see by the pics they look different. That’s because they were out of one bread so they had to make it on something else. I was a little worried like we almost left because they proudly serve Dukes mayonnaise. So I asked for light Mayo and didn’t notice the nasty Dukes at all lol. The sandwich was good it just wasn’t super flavorful. It was definitely better than most places we eat at especially when it comes to fast food and the value was great for what you got it was right around $22 for 2 meals as mentioned above. All and all I say give them a try!!!"

"I stopped here for a quick sandwich before shopping. I ordered the classic ham sandwich. It has honey baked ham topped with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, Duke's mayonnaise, and hickory honey mustard on a flaky croissant. I asked for cheddar instead. It was a tasty sandwich. There are just a few square tables with chairs. The atmosphere is nothing to look at. "The ham was absolutely delicious. While it isn't cheap, it's definitely worth the price. We placed an order online for pickup the day before Christmas, and the ham was ready when I arrived. I was pleased to see that they are diligent about following COVID-19 guidelines. The ham keeps really well, making it perfect for sandwiches! They also offer frozen side dishes like peeled potatoes and cinnamon apples, which are quite moist and nearly as good as homemade. My only suggestion would be for them to include gluten-free options and desserts on the menu."

"My wife called in advance to get a boneless spiral cut ham for Saturday, 12/26/15 for my family's Christmas gathering. When she got there at the agreed upon time on Saturday, they said she had to wait a little bit because it was not done. Then had to wait a little longer and when they finally brought out our order, it was not even what we ordered! My family, many were from out of town, were at the house and we had no main course for our Christmas meal. Thankfully, we thought of calling Ron's Original Bar and Grille in Exton and they were able to make us a tray of hot roast beef (at the last minute) which was done within an hour. My wife wrote a letter to the Honey Baked Ham company in Exton to let them know what had happened. We haven't heard anything back from them. So it appears that our satisfaction is not important to them. So we will never do business with Honey Baked Ham in Exton again. Update: in response to the owner, my wife put our address at the top of the letter."
