"This used to be Cafe 121, which I loved! I wasn’t very impressed with this new place. It’s a walk up and order style, then they bring the food to you. The vermicelli bowl was small and did not include the halved eggrolls, like I’m used to. I’ve never had a vermicelli bowl without eggrolls. The flavor was a little bland as well. The atmosphere was so blah, it definitely did not represent an Asian feel. Also, my bowl had a chip on the rim. They need to toss bowls like that. I will say, the service is good and the sweet tea was really good. I feel $31.65 for 2 small vermicelli bowls, 2 tiny appetizer spring rolls and 2 teas was a little expensive. We went during October, so the spiders on the wall are not real. Lol"

"The Krab Rangoon (6 pieces) was absolutely AMAZING! The Fried Dumplings with Pork (6 pieces) were a bit bland, but still enjoyable. The C21 Orange Chicken paired with pork fried rice and a side of fries was fantastic! The chicken had wonderful flavor, and the fries tasted just like McDonald's. The portions were generous for a very reasonable price! I have no complaints at all; I'm very particular about my Chinese food, and I've finally found a place I'll definitely be ordering from again. 10/10!"

"Order:-Hot and Sour Soup-Crab Rangoons-General ChickenThe food overall was quite average. In one case below that. The Hot and Sour Soup wasn't great and needed 2 packets of soy sauce to help its flavor. Their Crab Rangoons are currently the worst of any restaurant I have been to to date. Not only were their exteriors doughy and bland, but the filling was cold, chunky, and tasteless. It felt like they had been initially frozen, then microwaved an hour previous and left to sit there.On the other hand, the General Chicken was good. The quantity was phenomenal, and I easily got two meals out of it. If you need quantity over quality, the portions here will cater to those needs without sacrificing too much on the quality side. I still advise against ordering appetizers, and I would suggest sticking to entrees.The service was quite stiff and a little rude, but perhaps today was a busy day. I can not speak for others' experiences."

"I was brought in to photograph a selection of dishes at this restaurant and discovered that they have been a family-run business for over 30 years. Mrs. Lin, one of the owners, shared a touching story about how she used to serve children who are now parents, and she is now serving their kids—what a remarkable full circle moment! The food here is both authentic and delicious. I tried the Happy Family Reunion and the Walnut Shrimp, and they were amazing! Unlike most Chinese restaurants where General Tso's Chicken is deep-fried, here it is not, and it’s absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spice. It’s such a delightful experience. During the pandemic, this place has been bustling with carry-out orders, and it's easy to see why: they genuinely care about the quality of their food. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, and don’t forget to check out their Coomer location at 14 and Haggerty."

"Online order. Was told our food would be ready by 5:45pm. Arrive at 5:45 told they need 15 more minutes. No problem, we could see they were busy. We waited patiently. At 6pm we are told 10 more minutes. Okay, a little ridiculous but again, they were busy. Come 6:45pm and we finally get our food. 1 hour PAST our original pick-up time. Obviously we are very upset at this point. The girl working the takeout counter was rude and didn't care to listen when I told her I was unhappy with the service, she just turned her back mid conversation and walked away. Absolutely terrible customer care. Needless to day we will not be ordering from there ever again."

"Very low key and unassuming restaurant. Small menu (thank goodness, I appreciate a small menu). We went for lunch. We requested the Nepali menu. We ordered from both the Chinese and Nepali menus. The non vegetarian sampler of Nepali food was yummy! The tomatoey sauce was very flavorful and rich and kind of savory and delicious. The momo (we had steamed pork cooked so well, tender juicy and tasty). I don’t know how things SHOULD taste but they DID taste great to me! Chinese food options are old school American Chinese food but very tasty and well done. My favorite for classic American “Chinese” food iykwim. We had fried rice (perfectly done), wonton soup (exemplary handmade, broth slurpy not too salty tho I prefer lots of veg in mine) and chicken"

"Wonderful selection and good prices. Hot Pot, Chinese full menu and now Seafood Boils. All food was average to above average and service is average. It’s a unique experience and we never felt rushed. We will return. The Curry broth is absolutely amazing especially with tarot root. The lamb broth is certainly legitimate but a bit bland. The spicy broth is delicious BUT is full of full peppercorns and other spices that you need to strain the broth- not worth the fight. The seafood boil is A+. The hot pot sausages tasted off. The seaweed was overwhelming. I do not recommend either. However, we made Reservations for 7 a day in advance but ended sitting at two tables because of no large tables."
