"Some reviewers mention that the wait can be long and criticize the service, but they couldn’t be more wrong! Every dish in this restaurant is made fresh, just like good Venezuelan food should be. The wait time is exactly what you would expect for food prepared on-site; nothing is reheated or frozen!
Additionally, we ordered frozen Hallacas and Pan de Jamón to take home. The Hallacas required 30 minutes to cook, and the Pan de Jamón was ready to eat. We were overjoyed when we tasted them; they were exactly as we remembered—fresh and delicious, just like home. We were so pleased that we placed a large order to enjoy our traditional family meal on New Year's Eve.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. My family visited Bella Caracas Cafe right before the holidays and enjoyed traditional guitar music and festive Venezuelan tunes. We even had the chance to meet the owners, who are not only gracious but also eager to share their restaurant’s story. They truly make an effort to remember you upon your return.
Anyone with complaints about the food must not be Venezuelan. My family is so thrilled to have discovered this wonderful little restaurant, and we will definitely be back!"
