"After searching for a restaurant with good reviews near the airport, we decided to try Uncle Peter's and it did not disappoint. The space was beautiful, including a lovely patio. Our server, Alma from Montenegro, was fantastic. We had just arrived from a trip in Croatia and Bosnia, so it was fun to converse with her in the language. She had excellent recommendations for us and I believe she also made our delicious cocktails, including my favorite lychee martini. The octopus we ordered as a starter was heavenly, with a grilled taste and no fishy flavor. Our main dish, the brancino, was also very tasty, as were the rest of our dishes. The bread and butter were super delicious as well. We have found our new go-to spot for long layovers near JFK in the future! Great food and great service. Thank you!"
