"The best pizzeria in South Nassau! They took very good care of us during the pandemic and were always cheerful. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The whole wheat pizza is fabulous! For my birthday they sent me a coupon for a free personalized pan pizza. It was incredible and enough for 4. The slices were heavy because they are loaded with cheese. It blows away my memories of Pizzaria Uno. The calzones are old school Brooklyn. They are also very filling and made with good quality ingredients. The manager even called me to see how I liked the pizza. Once again, the best pizza on Long Island! Thank you, Mario's !"

"The food here is truly incredible! I had the stuffed rainbow trout, which was delicious. The prices are reasonable, especially since I got a full meal out of my leftovers. The decor is really neat, all imported from Ireland. Our waiter was fantastic too!"

"What. Happened.This was our local go-to for eggplant parm and other sandwiches/pizza every week for years. Tonight- no eggplant parm sandwiches anymore. No choice of salad or fries with sandwiches, only fries. Really disappointed but OK...Ordered 3 Caprese sandwiches, large Italian salad to share (because no side salad offered and Nuovo veggie pizza.What the bloody heck? Received 3 Caprese sandwiches, all different; one no mozzarella, only cold provolone and onion?!? 2 grilled(? one with mozzarella, only one with tomato, no basil anywhere. My six year old could make a better sandwich. Nuovo pizza had only eggplant and basil, no broccoli or veggies. Idk. Fries were crinkle fries from frozen, just a few, served in paper. Did not even get the Italian salad. I called and after discussion woman said I could get a refund for not receiving $12.95 salad. One in our party couldn't even eat the Caprese sandwich, had a bowl of cereal for dinner. Never again. I'm so sad."

"The service at this restaurant is outstanding. While dining, I witnessed a table nearby become upset and claim racism when they felt they didn't receive flawless service. However, the waitress, Sara, was clearly busy managing multiple tables and doing her best to provide excellent service. It was disappointing to see the family at that table, particularly their white friend, trying to manufacture problems in order to receive a complimentary meal. The servers at this restaurant work hard to satisfy demanding customers, and they deserve better treatment. The food here is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is always enjoyable. Keep up the great work!"

I haven't been back to New York in over a decade, so I can't say how it compares now—just to note that I'm referring to pizza in general, not specifically this chain. As someone who is a picky eater, taste is crucial to me—I primarily rely on my sense of taste since I’m visually impaired. If you're reading this review, I highly recommend adding fresh basil to your pizza; it pairs perfectly with the extra sauce. The cheese is wonderfully stringy, and they must be using high-fat mozzarella instead of that low-fat version, which tastes like cardboard—something I definitely don’t enjoy. I definitely plan to order again once my finances settle. I just moved into a new apartment, so I can’t order right now, but I’m looking forward to treating myself in a couple of months. I hope this review helps someone discover this place if they haven’t tried it yet."

"We arrived a little early for our reservation but were seated 25 minutes later. Although we were served water promptly, it took a long time for our server to come to our table. She explained that she was also working at the bar and was very busy. We only saw her again when she brought the bill. Our food and drinks were brought to us by other staff members. The lack of attentive service made us realize that our late seating was likely a result of delays throughout the restaurant. While everyone was friendly, the service was slow and inattentive."

"All I can say about the new kale crust pizza is that it's absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying any of their pizzas. The cauliflower pizza comes out hot and crispy. You can also finish your meal with a dessert; they offer an amazing chocolate cake and cheesecake. If you're dining with a group of friends, they have plenty of appetizers to sample as well. And don't forget to try the pasta—it's very filling! There's a butternut squash dish that you'll definitely want to take home as well. The restaurant has a spacious interior, and there's a patio out front for those who prefer to dine outside or want to enjoy a meal with their pets."

"Took a while for someone to greet us and get our drinks. We waited a very long time for our food and were ready to walk out but overheard the waitress scolding the cook . When our food finally came, it was delicious!The owner came to our table to apologize for the wait and explained he just took over the place. A bartender was filling in for a no-show, a soccer team came right before us and the evening chef just came on duty.Since the food was fabulous, and they did throw in free drinks for the wait, we will try this place again after the new owner has time to work out the kinks."

"Yes, this restaurant was a delightful find that I will definitely make a point to visit every time I'm in San Francisco. We ordered half Doggie Style and half with salami, pepperoni, and green peppers, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The lemon in the Doggy Style pizza gave it a refreshing twist that left me craving more. You can grab a slice for just a few bucks (and they are huge) or opt to wait a bit longer for a full custom pizza, which is well worth it if you have a larger group. I absolutely loved it!"

"Our service was great and food was really fun and good. Come willing to spend money and not worry about it. Only challenge was we had to send a drink back a couple times because the inside of the glass smelled like dishwater. I think maybe they store the glasses upside down and don’t dry? Bartender was really kind and said it was egg whites but we both had never smelled egg whites like that. Would def come back just wouldn’t order a drink out of a coup glass."
