"It was my 1st visit for the both of us, we were there to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was not attentive, he spent most of the time with other customers who had more than two people at table. We were not offered water nor dessert. My plate was warm, but food was cold, I ordered blackened turkey wings, red mashed potatoes and cabbage. So, manager offered to remake my plate but turkey wings still was dry and skin chewy, potatoes stiff, cold and bland, cabbage was luke warm, lightly seasoned. We also ordered Delta's tastin plate which consist of 3 tiers gumbo which spicy but tasty, dumpling consist of chicken vegetable (tiny pieces of chicken greens), catfish fingers were good but a little salty. Our serving of side dishes was nowhere as much as the couple who sat to the right of us. We also saw other plates served with steam illuminating from the plates. I came from outer state to enjoy a southern meal and music. Only to be extremely disappointed by the service. The table to the right of us had a server who was very attentive to her guests. The manager seemed as if she didn't want to be bothered nor there herself. I spent a lot of money on that evening tolls, dinner and gratuity $30 which is extreme for very poor service. If anyone wants to visit Delta's restaurant DON'T LET OMAR SERVE YOU. For birthday celebrate you receive little white plate with powder sugar, a little whip cream lil strawberries, gold candle and plastic gold happy birthday and flute of champagne. Otherwise, jazz music was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was nice."
