"In on a Weekday 6ish, not crowded yet. For apps we ordered the chicken fondue, (it was not warm enough, think it had set out for a bit , and the gator toes (that are hot enough to take the buds off your tongue, but really tasty . I had the fried shrimp basket (awesome , my son had the red beans and rice with sausage (also awesome and my hub had the shrimp creole (not so awesome . He thought it had an odd taste and later reckoned it to overdone roux. I thought it lacked spices, with the tomato sauce with no punch. To be fair, his grandmother was Creole so he has yet to find any gumbo, jambalaya, etc. up to her standards.When it got busy our waitress was rarely seen again. Three different people delivered food, my dish coming out long before the others. We had told her at the beginning we also needed an order to go and it was agreed she would take that order and put it in when she brought out our food. So since she didn't bring out our stuff, we had to wait until we were done eating and give her the order when she showed up with our bill.All the staff were pleasant, the ladies room was very clean and tidy. We will return, although changing up our orders. :"
