"I have been wanting to go to this lodge/ restaurant for a while now, and I'm glad I finally did! My wife and I went here for our 16th anniversary. All of the staff (especially desk staff) were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic! They served delicious food and drinks, made to order. The prices were lower than what I was expecting for excellent quality food and drink. The hostess that was present for breakfast was busy but still seated us in the lounge area, and then provided excellent service. Me and my wife will recommend this experience to our friends and family and we will be back again soon. We purchased passports and that added a fun element to the experience, being able to collect the stamps and prized, although I admit I didn't realize how in depth it is going to be to finish the passport for a completionist such as myself. We ate and drank at the Cove Bar, cloud bar, and the lounge/ restaurant and our experience was great! My wife said she had a great time from beginning to end. Thank you for a great experience, that's only 30 minutes from my home lol"

"We had a reservation for 4. We were seated fairly quickly but were not able to actually sit in our assigned booth the benches were too close to the table and not able to be moved. There are 3 table booths along that area. It appeared that the benches had been moved at one point, giving a large amount of space to the 1st booth, less to the 2nd, and no ability to sit at the 3rd the one we were assigned to. I am not a large person and I could not fit. So, we were re seated to a table. We spent perhaps 5 minutes at the table before we were approached by the manager who had seated us in the initial location asking why we moved. His immediate approach and assumption was that we just moved ourselves. We had to move yet again because a reservation for a larger group was made and the space was needed. That group took priority over our reservation and reseating. Obviously we did not feel very welcome, even with a reservation. The service was fine but the food especially the fries were served luke warm, making them inedible. No staff came back around to check on us. We were not asked about drink refills. Or if we wanted dessert. It felt like we were an inconvenience. I know it was a Friday evening. They were busy, but not every table or booth was occupied, so service shouldn 't have been anything out of the ordinary. This is not the typical service I 've received at this location. Perhaps it was because of the full moon??"

"Update 10/29/19: I ordered the same meal but unfortunately NOTHING was the same. the gravy was nonexistent, the “meat” was not browned, it tasted disgusting and I’m shocked to say this! It was my favorite meal. It tasted so bad, I called back afterwards to make sure the chef didnt change recently! I ordered it to go and i still tipped 20. I will try it one more time in the restaurant but I will NEVER order to go from them again!!! My original review below:: 4 stars:: WOW!!! Flavor profile party !!!! When I first walked it, I thought it was “interesting “. The menu is an old fashioned newspaper format and there are some interesting decorations. "Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"We just hosted our wedding here and couldn't have been more delighted. Everything went so, so smoothly and the whole process felt comfortable. Elisha is wonderful! Food was delicious. Wait staff was rad. I had a chance to hang out in three of the rooms and appreciated each of them. Anyways, we're altogether grateful at how it all came together. We'll definitely be back!"

No problem at Norms I have found good and healthy meals if you are a person who does not eat meat here are these options, they do not have a dish on the menu but you can make your own, my family likes to come here the favorite is the Omelette of vegetables and chef Sampler, today we were passing through this area and we met a beautiful girl named Isela (Chelsea) her all-night schedule with great energy His smile and kindness surprised us. It was worth the wait. We were tired and just wanted to eat, but we felt at home. The service and the hot food and the efficiency of the cooks were the best and when we asked for what we needed. "Been meaning to try this place forever, we finally went last night. Friendly service, nice atmosphere (we ate outside, there were ample heaters to stay warm) Garlic fries came out before our drinks. My husband really liked them, garlic was super fresh. I thought they were pretty good, nothing outstanding. I got a protein style cheeseburger, Eron got the Guilty Burger. They both looked great. Maybe our burgers missed the seasoning station, but this was the most flavorless burger I have ever eaten. I thought it was just mine, but Eron's was the same, just zero seasoning of any kind on any of it, he said the egg was just as flavorless. I salted mine like crazy (I've never had to put salt on a burger, heck I don't salt many things at all) just to give it a taste. Like I said, maybe our burgers just missed the seasoning station, but I'm not so sure I'd spend another 70 bucks to find out..."

"Everything about this place was okay when we visited on a Saturday soon after noon. Okay service. Food that was edible but nothing to rave over. Fries were hot but limp. Pretzel sticks with a fondue too thin to actually stick to the bread. I paid to have salmon added to a Caesar salad, but the salmon was overcooked and dry, which you can even tell in my picture. I did like my blackberry cider, and our server was nice enough to bring me a sample of that and the cherry to help me decide. I was hoping the place would stand out above the national sit down chains, but it didn?t."

"Wow! I love it when I stumble upon a place like Playmaker's! Bummed I never went before now! The staff working (Tyler and Amy) couldn't have been more friendly and yet efficient. Well done! The wedge salad was a good sized portion and very fresh tasting. The Tournament Turkey Melt AND fries are soooo yummy! Highly recommend both. They have quite a few specials for the weekdays and a Happy Hour M-F from 2-5pm that look awesome! They also give 10% back to the Pink Lemonade breast cancer awareness program! And they have a SUPER INCREDIBLY GENEROUS Military discount! I'll definitely be back. The Country music playing wasn't loud so you could hear the person across from you! "My only complaint was that the fries were insufficient, barely covering the plate and comparable in size to a child's small fries at a fast food restaurant. I also tried the chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce, which were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delightful as well. I sampled the new Mac n' Tots, which is a personal-sized serving of tater tots topped with macaroni and white cheese. It was different from the cheddar cheese I would have preferred, but I'm biased on that front. Overall, it was a great meal. The person I dined with ordered the country fried steak with eggs and pancakes and said the pancakes were perfect. The steak was fried to a crispy texture and very tasty. This restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the area. It has a charming old-school vibe with plenty of regulars, and the waitstaff is very polite and attentive."

"I used to visit Norms regularly and have been to the one on 17th Street in Santa Ana at least a dozen times in the past. However, my recent experience was disappointing. Perhaps it’s due to staffing issues post-COVID, but there were almost as many people waiting to be seated as there were inside the restaurant, which was far from full. The place was clearly understaffed. I waited for 15 minutes at 8:00 a.m., and they had only seated one couple while three groups were still ahead of me. Frustrated, we decided to leave and try a small local breakfast spot instead, where we were seated immediately and served probably before we would have even been seated at Norms. I can’t comment on the food or service at Norms due to the long wait, but it was certainly a disappointing experience overall."

"service is always great, drinks are great and eating is not so good. our ribs were burned and I should say something to the personal, but every time we eat here, it's just not that good to eat! this time were the scratched greens ingenious, the kornbrot was killer. last time we got the jambalaya, which was missing taste and I couldn't stand the crooked greens. this place has a large ambiente and a large terrace and was totally dead on a Friday night. I wish you the best for this place and his employees. What is the story? the kitchen is burned out? owners? do they feel free to write me back, I'm sorry to write half a negative review. I really want you to succeed. I ate in a new chain in boise idaho. it is all full at night. Menu points are different and interesting. it is called tupelo honey. I would support a restaurant intervention with all my power. (I don't like chains, but I totally understand why the matador is constantly busy! loves her server to eat her? are the owners? so many ask. I will say that back in the day I ordered her mac Etouffe style. it was amazing. So I have ordered it again and again when it was available and it got worse every time. Resistance is so important and I know I'm a total hole to write it. I don't want to see this place go. I talked to my neighbours to find out if I'm the only one who feels like that. They said they haven't gone back for years."

"Cole and Lori made our group feel incredibly welcome. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic. Everything we tried was delicious, but the garlic aioli asiago fries were truly exceptional—they were even better than they looked! "We went for lunch and had a great experience. The waitress was prompt and attentive. I ordered a perfectly cooked hamburger that was hot and delicious. My husband ordered an Omelette Hashbrowns that was also hot, almost burning his tongue - just the way we like it. This restaurant is located on La Palma in Anaheim/Fullerton. "We arrived for our reservation at went to our table at Darn good for a Friday night. Our server was prompt and in good spirits. We had our drinks refilled a couple of times with little wait. Close to the bar….a bit noisy on a Friday ! We took some of our dinner home, was provided take out containers. "Skyline restaurant could probably be described as a west coast diner. The menu is extensive and laminated on the table, portions are huge and prices are reasonable. The chocolate milk shakes are thick and creamy with a good balance of syrup and ice cream. It was thick enough for a spoon but still capable of using a straw. The hamburgers come in 1/4 and 1/2 lb size and also as double patties for each. There are lots of variations to satisfy many tastes. The French fries are extra but well worth the $3,50 cost and plenty for two. Service was fast and friendly. There is a covered outdoor space for dining and 4-5 tables inside. The place was crowded with a good take out flow even at 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. The only downside would be the bathrooms... not the cleanest I've ever seen. Skyline is definitely worth a stop... and come hungry."

"The food is good and tasty, but the customer service can improve. First the host was not very welcoming, he asked how many of us and came in to see the table and never confirmed if we had to wait or anything. He just went and moved some dishes, went to the kitchen several times and made us wait at the door for a long time. Finally when he came back he didn't apologize or anything, he just took us to our table where we waited too long to be served. The waitress was very nice, but we can tell that she had a lot to do with very little staff. We waited a long time also for our food and for the bill. It was good and the place has a good vibe but can definitely improve on the service."
