"Talk about rude and racist. My husband and I just wanted to come for a quick ice cream run. Only to be humiliated by the manager himself. Their brownie bits tasted absolutely disgusting, dry, and stale. I made it kindly known to the manager that I would like to have a new ice cream sundae. I’m not sure if he found it funny or pleasing to make a joke of it by going to taste the brownie bits himself, and say that nothing was wrong with it, and proceeded to make a scene as if I was the problem. Safe to say, I would never in my life step foot at this location, or possibly another Carvel ever. It’s 2024. It’s sad that racism still exist so heavily. Yes, my husband and I were the only Black Americans in this place at that particular time., so my decision towards race was highly influenced."
