"A trip to Root-a-Bakers is always a treat for the palette and the soul. The chicken salad is hands down the best ever. the baked goods are all amazing. But, my favorites are the ginger molasses cookies and the mini French coconut pie. The pie crust is so flaky and absolute perfection. The filling is a perfect bite of coconut goodness, with the toasted coconut crunch on top and the gooey vanilla filling. A Perfect bite. The ginger molasses cookies are soft, chewy, spicy love. The entire staff is wonderful and always make me feel like I am their top priority no matter how busy they are. They give all the customers that same special treatment. My favorite place to visit when I am in Morehead, KY."
