"We have eaten here a few times before and we always found the food to be excellent. Last night we took friends of ours and surprisingly the restaurant was very crowded which I was happy to see. Unfortunately we had 2 issues . One major issue was the noice level as there was live entertainment by the bar which actually was pretty good. Unfortunately it was extremely difficult carrying on a conversation with our friends at the table. Very upsetting as I never had this problem before. Previous visits here the environment was relaxed and quiet. The second issue was the time it took to bring out the entrees. The waiter did come over to the table and apologized twice and they did made a compensation on the bill for this inconvenience. However I think my wife's entree came out dry because it was being kept warm too long, and my friends entree came out cold. On the whole I felt the food to be better when the place wasn't as crowded. I would definitely return here but maybe not on a Saturday night."

"When I and my guests walked in, I immediately noticed people looking at us and what made it more uncomfortable their eyes followed us all the way to our seats. I looked back at them finally after I sat down and they stopped. Then the waitress came by and I tried being a little humorous, but she wasn't going with it. I then decided to just be normal with the waiters because I inferred that they were just being professional. The waiters took a while to refill our cups. Our initial waitress argued with me that there was no Rootbeer soda when I had just gotten a refill from another waiter. She even had the nerve to tell me that I didn't know what I was drinking. My initial drink was sweet tea, but she said they only served unsweet. I then decided to mix the unsweet with the sweet soda. I told her to serve a bit of tea and add the rest sprite soda. The cup came back very dark and tasted like unsweet tea. It should have been a very light brown if she had done it right. Then I'm told there was military discount and I ask if it was per person or per ticket or if there was another method. I was told no, which was okay. After a while, I am told there is no military discount at all. This is San Antonio Tx and I strongly believe there should be military discounts all over this great military city. I then tasted the food and if not for the extra sauce that was brought to me; I wouldn't have eaten it. The sushi at Chopstix, for me, tasted better than the ones I ordered there. I then got the bill and noticed an added 18% gratuity charge. It was just 4 of us there. The service was bad and the food wasn't very good. I will never return there. So disappointed with this place. UPDATE: AUG. 7 2021 The manager spoke with me and paid me back the wrongful gratuity charge. She told me we could actually let the waiters knows how to cook the items on the menu to better suit our wants. She apologized for the treatment we were given. I changed from 1 star to 3 stars. I am hoping that military discount becomes a reality there and that we get treated better next time we go. This place has a lot of potential and I hope to give it a whopping 5 stars soon."

"I ordered a delivery order. Simple. 1) sancocho 2) morir soñando. Result. After eating 1 hour for my order. I received in sancocho que parecía una sopa de pollo. It looks like the chicken went into a jacuzzi and came out with no flavour. The morir soñando was a orange juice. Very disappointed at Caridad. Charge me $20.00 but give me a sanchocho no una agua de teni. The sanchocho estaña aguado una agua con sopita. Por favor no engañen a la gente. Fix the Sam chocho the right way. I was so upset o have to come here a write this."

"Okay so food was outstanding BUT, it was eerily quiet in the restaurant. Even with other tables present no music or anything to provide a little background noise. It almost felt uncomfortable to talk because it was like everyone would be able to hear our conversation. Service was average. Not necessarily what you would expect for this price point but it wasn’t bad. Mixed drinks were horrendous and over-priced. They have a huge drink menu and out of the we ordered at the table no one liked theirs. Proportions were off and flavors were just a miss. My suggestion. Narrow the drink menu down to and have the bartenders just get good at perfecting those. Also for a basic Manhattan is absurd. This is by no means on the level of a Gibsons or Mastros where you would expect those prices. Just my"

"Pros: Good prices, delicious food, lots of parking nearby, fast service Cons: not enough outdoor seating : Love sushi and miso soup? This is the place. They are conveniently located right by Burlingame Ave so you can stop by real quick and then carry on exploring what Burlingame Ave has to offer. My favorite is the veggie Gyoza (something I haven't seen at other Japanese restaurants yet . Maybe I have to keep exploring and I'll find it. My wife had the chicken katsu bento box and she loved it. The salad has a dressing I've never had before but it was not overpowering or plain. Just simple and tasty. The California roll has a lot of crab meat which I thought most people would like, I prefer a little less but it was still good. Service was excellent both times I visited in the past three weeks so I will come here again!"

"Seafood Cocktail to die for!!!!!!!!. The first time I ate here, I had a mofongo and it was great! But their menu has such a wide variety of other foods, I've been going back and trying new things every time!!<br/ <br/ A friend recommended I try their seafood cocktail and it was delicious. Can you say FRESH crab??? Not imitation!! Seriously, if you like seafood you have to try their seafood cocktail. Heavenlyyy!!!<br/ <br/ My friend ordered their steak and it's an actual premium great quality cut of meat for almost 1/2 the price you'd get at a fancy steakhouse...<br/ <br/ and I can't forget the free pina colada they give you right when you sit down..<br/ <br/ I didn't eat outside on the patio this time, but it is really worth mentioning. It's such a relaxing place to eat--kinda gives you the feeling of escaping the city. There's this huge tree in the middle that gives it an oasis-type vibe. "This places is really nice, well decorated and the music is nice. They do have live music at a certain time that's cool, sounds great. The waitress are ready to take your order but later she didn't come back until our food came out. But I do give them that others are there to help you if your waitress is gone or maybe busy. We tried 4 different plates and well we didn't not see what the 5 stars are for maybe it's for the atmosphere and service but food was im sorry not there. Steak Asado was kinda hard and lots of fat parts so we didn't finish it. The nachos are just 3 half chalupas, I thought maybe they didn't get our order right. The new Birria taco plate yeah nothing special it was not to my liking I think they do much better at food trucks because this was not it. Those 3 plates i would give each 2 out 5. And our last plate was a seafood sampler the tostada was good, the shrimp cocktail was off that day we have had it before when it's good but that day it was off and also come with a fried fish and shrimp that was good so a 3 out of 5. The chips are good and the sauce is awesome that's a good 4 out of 5."

"I will begin by saying that eating was fantastic! ribeye, sea bass, chicken maul and jalapeño suppe! the service was very slow. we stuck in the back room. we asked for refills on water, tee and beer. the server brought the bill and forget that we ordered dessert. our friends have picked up the register card and given a very generous tipp of $100. server was not the wish of this great peak! Dinner/drink bill was $150.00 we thought it was strange that he brought the bill out before our dessert came. we asked him about dessert and he said he had forgotten. if he thinks he could order the desert for us and get it that he brought a bill for $16.00 when he disserted him. have you known me? I went to him and asked him how much his tipp was and he didn't even say $100 how generous it was. I said that at least what you could do because you forgot that our desserts it at this place complicated. he said I can't! ellen! now we can't and will not be back to this site mission viejo ever again. you blew it!"

"Paid $14 for 3 carnitas and instead was given the equivalent of school lunch slop. I wish i had taken pictures because I was in awe of how much I was ripped off. The tacos weren't assembled, and there was only enough meat for 1 single taco. The rest of the plate was a mix of rice, beans, and other foods i couldn't identify.Granted, it was takeout and I'm sure the in restaurant experience is better, but paying $14 for nothing more than cafeteria food is abysmal."

"Authentic and delicious. Beautiful ambience, lots of parking, great customer service. Interior and terrace tables available. Parrillada was expensive and lacked some of the meats that should be included in the dish, we only have a mushroom and a shrimp! "This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. "Ok I have ALOT of good things to say about this restaurant. I have been here more than 3 times and I keep coming back because everything is a great experience. First, the service is amazing. The staff there is lovely and warm, and helpful if you have questions. There has never been a problem with any of the ladies who have served us. Secondly, the restaurant is clean and very appealing in all aspects. Tables are never sticky and floors are never dirty. I love their effort in their decorations and I love love love the atmosphere. Music is authentically Mexican and something you enjoy hearing as a backdrop. They have a tv on in there that is not too distracting but nice to look at. Last but never least, the food is on par! Everytime my group goes there we always get nachos as appetizer and they are so amazing and the presentation is so nice! I’ve gotten the enchiladas, burrito, tacos, and they have never disappointed. Perfectly seasoned and plated. My friends only had good comments the whole time while eating. Not only is this my favorite restaurant but they are consistent and hopefully they continue! Love it there"

"I was excited to order from this restaurant because I remember how good it was 6 years ago. I made an online order for pickup and called once I arrived. I thought there was curbside pickup because I didn?t see any instructions on where to get the food. I asked the woman who answered says, ?I guess I can come bring out to you.? [with an attitude] -Terrible hospitality! I don?t feel entitled to receive curbside but, the way the message was conveyed let me know the culture of this place has significantly changed. "Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. "My family and I wanted a new place for breakfast. It had a great view and ambiance. Food was good, but not much of a choice. Maybe the lunch and dinner has more to offer. "I have visited the Poughkeepsie location, and I have to say that Golden Corral is far better. First of all, during both of my visits around noon, I thought I was paying the lunch price of $12.75 per person. However, each time I was charged $17.99 per person and was told that it’s dinner all day. That’s not what your sign indicates, and there’s no mention of “Dinner all Day” anywhere to be found. I find that really frustrating. As a result, I didn’t tip the bus girl, as she shouldn’t have to bear the brunt of the extra charges being made. If they’re charging me an additional $5 per person illegally, they can give that money to her. There’s no lunch price displayed when entering the restaurant, yet you suddenly charge dinner prices at noon. Sorry, but your scheme has been uncovered. Don’t expect me to tip anyone."
