"The wait time was 45 mins but it was equivalent to every restaurant in the city. The food took a min but was worth the wait. My party stated the pasta is their favorite . We also ordered chicken strips,fried pickles ,all American cheeseburger(not pictured) which was also good . The drinks were good , the hurricane tasted a lil weird but had the right amount of liquor.It was cold in the restaurant could have been the area we sat at (downstairs). This was my 1st time and I will definitely be back.If your looking to try something new I recommend this place."

"great food! good music! faster friendly service! soon after ashley waited our table and it seemed like just seconds past when our appetizers arrived with the usual bread basket and creamy spicy butter. I can't resist this brot at jaz! this was our first time at this place downtown omaha nebraska. the decor reminds of a similar mood as KC sites. the band plays from above balkon similar legendary kc. can not go wrong with the menu darlings chicken a la mer. side of okra and jambalaya. I left after a delightful evening fuller and more satisfied feelings."

"Plenty of parking by the restaurant. It can get a bit crowded since there are a lot of restaurants/shops there. The wait wasn?t too long for a weekend dinner. Garlic noodles: tasted delicious on its own but paired well with the seafood boil. Helped cool down the heat from the seafood boil. Sweet potatoes fries: arrived nice and hot, the powered sugar on top added an additional layer of sweetness. I would say it?s more of an dessert than appetizer. Really enjoyed itthough. Little cap?t (kid?s mea): fried fish, fries, Mac and cheese and mini corn dogs. My son seemed meh about it, he enjoyed the garlic noodle more. Seafood boil: got shrimp and craw fish with the triple hot sauce. Omg so spicy but agood type of spicy where the flavor isn?t lost. Love it. But definitely only get it if you have a high tolerance for spiciness. Also would not recommend getting this level of spicy if you actually want to eat the corn. My only complaintwas some of the crawfish had no meat inside ???? All this paired with a bucket of cold beer amazingness Definitely coming back!"

"STAY AWAY... They will scam you by not publishing prices. I had lunch boil that was $116.62 for one person which included: 6 shrimp, lobster tail, and 3 King crab legs. The waiter was deceitfull when asked about the specials. He was slik in telling us market price , knowing that we cam in for an affordable lunch. When the check arrived, the manager hid, and the server would only say market price , which is vague as he did not tell us the the market price was $79 per pound until he presented the check. The atmosphere is that of a sub shop, certainly not the Palm, and the service falls below average when you factor in the decptive practice. STAY AWAY or BE FOREWARNED!"

"I haven't been in this place since it first opened up, so I decided to give it another try when the Harrison location closed. Fresh off a flight we headed to shaken crab to have some great seafood that we've been missing. So when we get there, there's only one group seated and us at the the bar. Business looked kinda slow, so we order looking for the same taste from Harrison we were so disappointed when the food came out so bland and with no taste, we informed them about this they said they'll make it again and did and it was better then the first time. Fear of that happening again I probably won't be returning I like my food correctly made the first time, I have a fear of someone doing something to my food if sent back bit I was so hungry as I said I just got off a flight and they were my first stop. So try at your own risk in other words.Parking: There's parking in front of this location but there's other stores so it depends on when you head there if you'll find parking or not."

"Went to Jazz for my birthday dinner this evening (6pm). We sat outside at the sidewalk cafe tables. Service was a little slow, but they were very busy, and a little understaffed. The staff more than made up for that by having a great and cheerful attitude, which is pretty amazing with the pressure they were under. Prices are reasonable and the food quantity and quality are above par. I had a bowl of seafood gumbo, 1/2 lb of boiled shrimp and a full fried catfish dinner. Way too much food, but he … – show"

"The one thing that bothered me about Anchorage was that so many things that appeared to be open on Google, were actually closed down until later in May.When the original restaurant we were going to eat at was closed, my dad and I came to Gumbo House instead, and it was one of the best happy accidents. I could have hoped for.The prices were absolutely fair for what we got, and I could tell that the food was cooked with care and love, instead of being poured out of a bag and heated up in a microwave.I got the southern combo which was absolutely mouthwatering, and a great selection for anyone who can't make up their mind on what one thing to get.This was definitely a home-cooked meal 3000 miles away from home!"

"The wings have a nice level of spiciness, but their flavor is quite mild (don’t be deceived by the lemon pepper fry seasoning). The shrimp po' boy relied on sauce to cover up the rather bland shrimp. For the best experience, I recommend sticking to the boils. The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere seems more suited for sit-down dining. The takeout experience felt more like a toned-down version of Bonchon."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is consistently fresh and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the spitfire lamb and the beef or chicken wrap; both are delicious in their own unique ways. Additionally, the lemon fries are always perfect and come with a fantastic sauce."
