"We ordered the Queso Fundido, the Molcajete and the Campechana. The Queso fundido was very greasy, we tried spooning out the grease, we tried getting the napkins to soak up the grease we finally sent it back, it was gross. Now the Campechana was delicious, there was plenty of sea food and the brooth was good. The molcajete was our favorite. There were 4 of us and we all had plenty of steak, shrimp, chorizo, grilled Cactus, queso fresco and chicken that were perfectly cooked. It came with rice and beans. DELICIOUS, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ?"

"I have loved this place for so long but lately they have been lacking.. I’m not sure why but lately every time I order there’s always something missing example got the enchiladas and they forgot the sour cream , or got the chilaquiles and they only put one egg instead of 2) or they get the order wrong. Also the amount of food they are giving is little compared to before. The food still tastes amazing and there’s good service but it’s a bummer that there’s always something off when we order from there lately."

"I’ve been here a couple times, and it hasn’t disappointed so far. Most recently I had a combo plate that was very good, but the carnitas taco was absolutely incredible. I’ve never had carnitas that were so crispy, yet so tender. Highly recommend this place!"

"I do my best to be generous to locally owned business and I feel that 4 stars is plenty fair. If this had been a chain I would have given it a solid 2.Food: The food itself was amazing. Whoever the cook is here does a great job. The variety is extensive and flavorful. Best cooked octopus (Pulpo) in Los Angeles in my opinion.Service: Pretty much all the staff speak Spanish only but they are very friendly and patient. If you need something specific, they can make it work even with a language barrier. They are attentive and helpful. Great service.Atmosphere: This is where this place loses me. Despite the great food and service; this place is LOUD. It was so loud, I actually downloaded a noise detection app and it registered this place at 120 decibels at times and regularly at 100db's. (About as loud as a chainsaw or airplane taking off). This was from the stereo speakers around the restaurant. Normally I dont like live bands, but I was relieved when one showed up and they turned down the loud music for them. I dont know if the owners here are deaf, but if they werent before, they surely are now. I couldnt think or eat with how LOUD this place was. Geez.Overall: Get your food to go and save yourself your ears bleeding and have a great meal at home."

"Now this is a restaurant where the food is surprisingly good but is overshadowed By employees eating at the bar lounging in front of customers and enjoying the establishment more than the guest be careful what you order because even if you send it back they will still charge you the drinks are good but watch what you order they will sneak shots on you and charge you for them despite what you order they will give you what they think you ordered and will do nothing to correct the situation the manager is a high school kid playing amongst grown folks and enjoys everything the restaurant has to offer at the expense of the customers and guests."
