"I look for restaurants that have Dover Sole Meunière in their menus, so I found Jubilee. It's a French restaurant on 1st Ave 52 Street. The Dover Sole Meunière was very delicious; I really liked it. But it's the attentiveness of the host and the server that completed the experience for me. I asked for a booth and I was given a booth in a hospitable manner. That got me to feel comfortable in the place! I also ordered the Duo of French White and Green Asparagus upon the server's recommendation. It's from the daily specials, and it was pleasing to my eyes as well as tasty. I wish the butternut squash soup didn't have chicken broth and the fish soup didn't contain alcohol! (Hopefully, they read my review and make the changes) Still, I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, service, and the Dover Sole Meunière!"

"We made a last minute reservation after a long day moving and my daughter was craving a great burger. They couldn't be more welcoming even at the late hour. Place was fairly empty but the service was excellent. Fun drinks and great wines by the glass. The seared tuna was amazing and the best Scillies potatoes I have ever had!"

"I've let out....Specialty cocktails made with fresh juice, my blueberry basil drop was so good. the chef is amazing and kreatiw. that had caught us from the plate presentation to the last bite. the pork tenderloin with brand green peppercorn veal demi was incredible, but also the duck breast and the black beak. kaila took care of us without ever missing a beat. we look forward to our return trip."

"I rarely visit the area where Quench is located, but had a groupon, so was curious to check it with a group of friends. The servers were attentive and very helpful. The menu was quite extensive and a bit hard to wrap our heads because A) gave it so much to read, and B) because of the unique flushion of the kitchen. It was more of a bar/casual vibe than I expected. If I were on site, I could go back to drinks, but otherwise there was nothing I would go back for."

"Ordered chicken parmigiana and a small white pizza for delivery. Unfortunately, everything was very mediocre. The delivery time was updated about half an hour after I placed my order in the Slice app to be a half hour later than originally estimated. When the food arrived at the adjusted, later estimated time, the delivery person left it on the floor outside even though I never asked for that. Didn't even knock on my door to let me know so that I'd go out to get the food. I only knew because I heard the elevator. The pizza was cold and ok, but kind of bland. The chicken parm and spaghetti were hot at least, but not great. The chicken wasn't very flavorful; the spaghetti was extremely bland. I'm not even sure they salted the pasta water and the marinara just tasted like tomato with nothing else. And the spaghetti was all stuck together dry with the sauce just dumped on top. Disappointed. Maybe it's better eating there in person based on the positive reviews, but getting it delivered was not worth it at all."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"We stopped in on a Friday night for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is great- right on the water, you get a great view of the water from almost any spot in the restaurant. We called ahead for a reservation, but you can walk-in for outdoor seating. We, of course, tried the lobster options- one boiled and one Fishermen’s Style lightly baked with scallops. The traditional boil was great while the Fishermen’s Style was slightly overdone. It’s a great spot to stop by. The only caveat is that they can get really busy which means you could end up like us, waiting an hour for the check."

"As a picky Turkish foodie, I have to say this place is a must if you want experience great Turkish food in NYC. The staff is great and friendly! The service is spectacular! We started with the lentil soup and babaganoush. The soup had a perfect texture and tasted just like a homemade one. The babaganoush was fresh and delicious! For entree?s we went with the iskender and sultans delight. To be honest, I had some hesitations about the iskender due to my previousexperiences at other Turkish restaurants across US. However, the iskender here was perfect! I was very impressed by the taste. The hunkar begendi was great as well! They are pretty generous with their portions. We finished out meal withfreshly brewed Turkish tea and a great tasting Kazandibi as a desert. I highly recommend this place!"

"We ordered the brandino and the mixed grill. Food was really good. We had the kunafe (didn’t take a pic) for dessert, not the best we’ve had, especially for the price, but the food was on point. "My family of six was welcomed for dinner on Christmas Day. My children had never had Turkish food, now they love it. We ordered Doner Kebab, Chicken kebab, Iskender Kebab, Salmon, and hummus. "If you go, do not have plans for afterward. 7pm reservation and was not seated until 7:50ish. Kitchen was also backed up, did not eat till 9pm. Food is ok, wait staff is good, they are doing the best they can with all of the circumstances that are out of their control. This was my first time visiting after passing by this place for years. Unfortunately it will also be my last. For the price, I will stick to my other favorite high end Resturant’s, that live up to their reputation, service and quality of food. I do believe they had a large party that caused their delays today, but they should have shut down their reservations. I will add they make an excellent margarita."

"for years we have been eating in the original akdeniz (19 west 46th street.) in which it was the original akdeniz that recommended us this restaurant (310 west 53rd street) when it was already booked. at the time, the original acknowledgement assured us that everything is the same in the newer acdeniz. but unfortunately this information was not correct. the new akdeniz has not prix fixed dinner, has not raki or ouzo (no alcohol license), and has not so many desserts. [ Fortunately, the auberginensalat was just as delicious. my salmon grape leaves were less abundant than usual and the fish of my man was overfished. Of course, although the owners were pleasant and tried to meet, we are wounded with a higher bill for much less satisfying food and drink. we will look for another restaurant when we go to the west 50s to the theater. last Friday we went to studio 54, a comfortable but disappointing restaurant choice."
