"Googled for a breakfast restaurant that had a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich for my husband, and they did not disappoint! The sourdough bread was soft and buttery. The bacon was delicious. My Hawkeye omelet was Everything! 3 egg omelet, FILLED with chicken, bacon and cheese, topped with avocado. The lightly smokey bacon complimented the chicken so well. The Guatemalan Roast coffee was strong, smooth, and balanced. My personal happy note was to find Smuckers Mixed Jelly for my wheat toast!!! Our server Ashley was so friendly and informative. It was good to know that this is a family ran, local chain where the owners' sons and daughter run every location. Their pride is reflective in the atmosphere and the staff. This was our 1st time visiting while on vacation, but it definitely won't be our last before we leave."

"I came to this restaurant after seeing some negative reviews on Google while searching for their closing time. However, I strongly disagree with those who criticized this place. I have been a patron since my student days at SJSU and have always enjoyed their delicious food and excellent service. The menu offers a variety of options ranging from Chinese to Italian cuisine, with breakfast and dinner items available at all times of the day, and everything tastes amazing. The prices are reasonable and the location is convenient, with ample parking, though it may be slightly risky to walk around after dark. I suggest exploring the beautiful SJSU campus instead, as the lit up tower and fountain are a sight to behold at night. In my opinion, the negative reviews are unwarranted. "I stopped in here after a doctor's appointment today and I was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is so clean! I got a seat right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My waitress was so nice and attentive, my omlete came out so fast but was cooked well. I asked for onions and peppers with my potatoes and they came in my omlette which I didn't mind, the green peppers were not cooked which could have been better but the omlete was well cooked and packed full of veggies. The potatoes were really good too. My waitress let me know there were specials and the hours on weekends. She had such a pleasant vibe, I felt like she could read my mind. The menu is big, physically and with a lot of options. I will be back for sure to try a dinner option."

"This is the 1st time we’re back dining in since the pandemic start. The restaurant feels cleaner and brighter than before, they set a plexiglass between seats in dining bench area, and the restaurant’s atmosphere also feels refreshed. Our order was: Kid’s Menu: Spiderman! It’s a crabcake with choice of side! The crabcake portion is huge for a kid’s menu and it’s super delicious! We choose greenbeans as side, it’s super soft and tasty. Triple Decker Sandwich! The portion is unbelievably big, and all ingredients are fresh and delicious! We got soup of the day; shrimp bisque, yuuum Have I mention their fries? Their fries very unique, they stay as delicious as fresh even if you warm them up as leftovers the next day. Beef Stroganoff over noodle! By reading the title, it’s already sound delicious! You can taste the freshness of beef stock within noodles with mushrooms sauce, come with choice of salad and soup. We chose salad with thousand island dressing and shrimp bisque soup! Yuuum yuuum The ladies restrooms are somehow super cold due to no heater working, asides from that, the restrooms are clean and spacious! We miss the food already!"

"Ate here this morning with my boyfriend and two local friends. Had been a bunch of times and always had excellent experiences all around: delicious food that corresponds with fair prices and friendly staff. I typically got one of the specials or French toast. Can't tell you why I had never tried the pancakes but I'm glad I did today. I had the cinnamon swirl pancakes topped with blueberries and strawberries and the pancakes were amazing! The portion was just right and the pancakes didn't leave me feeling overwhelmingly full; instead I was simply satisfied. My boyfriend had the cajun chicken omelette which I would also recommend if you're looking for something more savory."

"The service was great! Although there were some cross-border communication problems, it was not enough to ruin the experience! Some menu items had pictures to show how they are served (e.g. the Brownie a la fashion show in the picture), but others do not, and if you have received your order, it cannot be what you expect. Each server is friendly and pay is quite easy, although they have to pay a separate counter. I recommend Ridgewood Eats to all who are looking for a delicious meal and a good atmosphere to enjoy chat sessions with friends!"

"As soon as you step into the arcade, you can tell that you're in for a unique experience at this restaurant. The artwork is fantastic, the service is top-notch (shoutout to Kyle!), and the atmosphere is lively. After ordering drinks, Kyle recommended that we explore the rest of the restaurant, which is filled with amazing murals, pop art, and even a Banksy piece! The menu offers a variety of interesting options for all types of food lovers, including a great selection of sushi. Kyle suggested a few dishes that we both loved, including the salmon and bass entrees. The mashed potatoes were particularly delicious. The sound system was excellent, allowing us to easily have a conversation at our table. We can't wait to come back again!"

"This is an ideal dive bar. The burger was outstanding—cooked just right, well-seasoned, and deliciously juicy. The fries were expertly prepared: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The nachos were generously loaded and bursting with flavor. The Reuben was a classic and very tasty. I highly recommend the steak sandwich; the steak was cooked to perfection, and the blue cheese added a fantastic touch. Overall, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun. "I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend and I really loved the food. The crab cake benedict was absolutely delicious. It did take about 45 minutes for our food to arrive after we placed our order (we ordered the benedict and a basic breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, and pancakes), but it seemed like they were short staffed and very busy. The quality of the food more than made up for the wait, but just be aware that there may be a wait during weekend breakfast hours."

"this little place is a shade. eating is excellent the quality that cook and the aromen were delicious. our friend had the lamb frame and said it was the best he ever had. the salmon and the mush were also delicious with the frit. we loved the wee choices and enjoyed every moment of our experience. on Friday and Saturday evening they have light, live music with a small ensemble, which is a beautiful and adds a special note. my only suggestion is based exclusively on personal preferences some votiwkerzen on the tables, along with a softer overall lighting would “on” the experience that is already wonderful. we want to get back. Five stars!"

"had bad experience here on Friday 29 June 2012. Breakfast in the morning and within 1 hour had bad cases of food poisoning that lasted three days. I approached Mr. D's owner a week later in his hotel. Although he immediately apologized He only heard about. 30 seconds to my account and returned the door before I could ask him for some kind of restitution. I lost bail on fishing trip that was canceled for food poisoning. His attack on the situation was as bad as the food in his diner."

"First allow me to say that the food here is absolutely excellent. This has been a gem to find to get good breakfast. However, the experience I had today was intolerable. I wanted to make a takeout order for my wife and I and first I tried to call, but the phone number doesn't work. So I went in person and arrived at 1:40. I made my order and it wasn't anything extreme, just liver and onions, with pancakes and coffee, that was it. I stand around waiting for 25 minutes and then the ticket is given back to me and I'm told that the kitchen can't make it, and that the absolute latest they can receive an order is at 1:30, a full half hour before closing time.If that was the case, then why couldn't they tell me at 1:40 that it was too late to take my order? Instead I'm standing around for 25 minutes and then leave empty handed. This is inexcusable."

"Always wanted to try this place so we stopped in. There was a slight wait for no reason at all but we were seated after the host was done chatting with his buddy and grabbing his buddies to go order. Very irritating but we forged ahead. We were seated at a table for six when it was only two of us. Not a big deal. We placed our order and it took over an hour plus to get our food. Mind you, it wasn't busy and people who arrived way after us got their food before us. I'm no complainer so we patiently waited. We ordered a patty melt with fries, steak and eggs and two bloody Mary's. We didn't end up eating the food because by the time it got to us, we were ready to go. However, later that night when we ate it, the patty melt and fries were really good. The steak was super tough but everything else that came with the steak was good. Everything had good seasoning and the bloody Mary's were phenomenal! Our waitress was new and rung in our bloody Mary's wrong. She rung in a virgin for me and the Maria for my husband. Not sure where the virgin came from. The bartender quickly corrected it. However, with that mistake, it made me think she forgot to ring in the food and that's why it took eternity to get. She offered us a fruit bowl to hold us over. All in all, not the best experience and I doubt we'd return. However, the food was really good."

"Very difficult to get to, no clue this was a dining area in a hotel, not an actual restaurant. Hours say open until 11, kitchen closes at 8. Staff is terrible , you can’t tell whether this is just the hotel bar or you can order food. We had to get up and ask someone to come serve us. The server had no idea what was on the menu, didn’t bring us silverware, brought our appetizers with our dinner and then when we got our dinner , the steak went cold because we didn’t have a knife for 25 minutes. ZERO customer service. Checked on us once the other times we were attended to we had to flag the server down. Expensive food and worse customer service than a fast food joint."
