"In June 2020, my partner and I found ourselves in need of a meal one evening. We decided to try a new restaurant or support a local family-owned establishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service over the phone from Laurie. We placed an order for the beef brisket dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese. To our delight, the food arrived in just 25 minutes, much quicker than the estimated 45 minutes. This speedy delivery was a pleasant surprise as we were quite hungry. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the exceptional service from the person who delivered our meal, who we believe was named Dawn. Good luck to the restaurant!"

"I’ve never been disappointed! I’ve ordered from this casual eatery many times, and everything has always been excellent and fresh. They offer a wide variety of options and toppings, including vegetables, sauces, and meats, to customize your salads, quinoa bowls, pasta, and lunch items. They also provide gluten-free options. "I would give it zero stars if i could. Absolutely one of the most unprofessional places i have ever experienced. I called in for a delivery and the lady answering the phone sounded very rude and then when i proceeded to give my adress she saying that they don’t deliver there(has to be within 4 miles) and it was within said miles and as i proceeded respectfully, she Rebuttals again that they don’t and then asked the manager if they deliver there, while im still on the phone and i said its within the the requirements. She gave attitude and said well we Don’t deliver there. I ask to speak to a manager and when i talk to him he finally got my adress right and then asked for my order. I quickly changed my mind in the thought that they might play with my food so i didn’t even order it. But gotta say it was not a grateful experience at all."

"The initial impression of the restaurant was uncomfortable and quite sad. A group of snobby 16-year-old girls were standing at the door in tight white clothes and sneakers, showing greed towards the guests. Their behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional. It was disappointing to see such young girls in that position, as it sets a bad example for others. The lack of proper greeting and attire almost made us leave, despite our love for the food and drinks at the restaurant. The staff at the door need to be properly trained on how to welcome guests with a smile and proper manners. The rude behavior at the front door left a negative impression on us and has caused us to not want to return. It is a shame that such behavior is allowed to ruin the overall experience, despite the great food and service provided by the waiting staff. We regret spending our money at this establishment and will not be returning in the future."

"Located at the Blockbuster Plaza off of St. Georges Avenue in Linden, this establishment is literally a hidden gem. Named after the owner’s wife, I have been coming to Bella Gina’s for many years, where the owner, Anthony, greeted us upon entering today and recognized me by name. Being an old-school Italian deli, my go-to sandwich is called Mama’s Delight, consisting of fresh mozzarella made in house, tomatoes, and pesto on a hard Italian bread cut into two. One of my colleagues accompanied me, and being a first-timer, she got the prosciutto, mozzarella, and roasted peppers on hard Italian bread. Both orders came with homemade potato chips. Besides sandwiches, they also have a large selection of Italian cuisine, salads, and Italian products for takeout and catering. The sandwiches are enough for two meals, are made fresh, and taste delicious. If you are in the area, give this place a try."

"I haven 't given reviews in a long time but had to say something about this Monticello location CPK on Monroe Lawrence. We usually go to the valley fair location but decided to try this new one since it was on our way. We were 3 people only. The restaurant was empty but the host said he would not seat us for 20 min because they had a group of 10 that was slowing them down. An empty restaurant on a Saturday was getting overwhelmed by 10 people . I thought it seemed a bit fishy but it turns out it was more racist. We decided to order takeout. While waiting for our meal, I watched the racist behavior of the manager staff. After us some 5 different Caucasians couples came, unrelated, who got the seats right away, then came another Indian family of 3 adults and 2 kids who were asked to 'wait '. Few Caucasians came and went straight inside. Then an elderly Asian couple came who were asked to wait 5-10 min or they could sit outside. So they chose to be outside. 1 Caucasian lady came and sat at the bar right away. Then another Indian couple asked if they could also be seated at the bar but were told they could order takeout or wait. ‍. If this is not racist then I don 't know what it was. Finally after 30 min our order got done. I,just after observing their behavior, decided to open all our orders, which my daughter found embarrassing but lo I was right our 1 order was wrong and burnt !! Getting them to redo took another 10 min. NEVER GOING BACK!! Not to this location ever!!! Btw we came because we had t mobile offer."

"I really love the food here; it’s consistently good, and the service is usually satisfactory or even excellent depending on who is serving you. However, I recently visited with a friend on a Monday around noon, and despite it not being busy, no one greeted us. I noticed at least two employees glance our way but then ignore us. After a few minutes, someone finally waved and signaled that they would be with us shortly. By that time, another person had also begun waiting behind us, and with so many other dining options nearby, we decided to leave. Normally, I would rate this place 4 or 5 stars, but I had to lower it to 3 due to the poor service during this visit. I would be happy to revise my rating if the service improves in the future."

"I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. I haven't had the very best experiences with places so close to home so this one was such an awesome surprise. Our server was Tommy and he gave some pretty good selections and just had the nicest give about him...not the caffeine induced over bubbly personality but just a pleasant chill and calm demeanor. The food by itself was really quite good. I had the Philly egg rolls and the penna Ala vodka pasta while my husband had the sirloin with shrimp and we weren't disappointed with any of it. Overall we had a really good experience that we're already planning to have a repeat trip."
