"This is a must stop if youre looking for some of the best pastries, cookies, and dessert in the city.Located in the East Village at 342 East 11th Street it's right in between 1st and 2nd on 11th. Open 7 days a week, Sunday Thursday from 8am 10pm and Saturday and Sundays from 8am 11pm. Just to note, they stop seating 30 minutes before they close.Veniero's is in the same building it originally opened in 1894, and still has many of the original details, including beautiful hand stamped tin ceilings, etched glass, and marble floors. Still operated by the Venerio family, this gem is a great place to stop any evening for that special dessert. If you're not in NY and have a special occaision, you can have some cannolis and cakes shipped. You won't be dissapointed."
