"The food (roast chicken, spaghetti, rigatoni, veal, and sides) was ordinary, the gluten-free pasta overcooked and soggy. Worse, the owner was rude, rigid and belligerent. We were a party of 9 in their so-called formal dining room, a few feet away from their casual dining room. My grandson ordered a gluten-free pizza from the other room, but we were told that they don 't serve their pizzas in the formal dining room, even though the pizzas are on their online menu along with all their other options. We asked why not but she insisted that was their policy and they haven 't changed their policy in over 40 years. When we asked if she would make an exception since my grandson and his father can only eat gluten free she told us that we could all move to the other room but she wouldn 't serve pizza in her formal dining room. Our large party had already been seated and were about to order, and there were no other customers in the room. She refused to let the waiter walk the five extra feet into the formal dining room, so my grandson sat through dinner without food while we all ate. She said we could order his pizza, have it boxed up, and take it home, but he couldn 't eat it in the dining room. And we could leave if we didn 't like her rules. We found her rigidity and rude behavior outrageous. There is nothing formal about their formal dining room except a tablecloth added to the tables. After we ordered, they also informed us that they didn 't have the gluten-free bread on the menu either. This restaurant is not worth your trip, not for the food or the service. There are many finer restaurants in the area. Two waiters apologized for the owner, but it 's still not worth the bother."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. The whole experience was the worst experience my family and I have had at a restaurant. Our waiter was so short with us, rude, and overall just disrespectful and discourteous to us. We asked for waters all around and our waiter came and one had spilled, that was fine, it was an accident. His attitude about it was unapologetic, and then he overcompensated and brought out three extra waters when we had asked if one of us could get a replacement. It was a condescending tone when he abruptly placed the waters down. They brought out the ‘infamous’ chalkboard specials and expected us to know what everything is on the menu. When we had asked questions, he was having none of it, looked annoyed, and again was short and cut us off. So we had asked for 3 Linguine Alle Vongole which are clam pastas. One we had asked with a tomato sauce, but the clams had never came out with it. Perhaps it was a miscommunication, but we asked for and eventually got a bowl of clams for an up charge of $20. And on top of that they are a cash only establishment who adds gratuity onto the check themselves, you don’t have the option to change it. Unfortunately, reading other people’s 1 star reviews they have had a pattern of having racial profiling towards Asians. We have never felt those disgusting behaviors before. It was clear as day how displeased when they saw our group, as the group next to us told the waiters they are French and they were having good and lighthearted conversations with them. They got their food before us even though they had come in after us, and had the options of grating cheese on their dishes, when we didn’t have that option at all. This is the worst establishment we’ve been to. This is a warning to others before you go decide to have a try at this place."
