"Funny how I found out about My Delight Cupcakery... I saw a review on The Stout House by an individual who happened to have one other review and it was about a breakfast cupcake from My Delight Cupcakery. It caught my attention LOL. I had to find out what a breakfast cupcake is all about. So here I am...Before coming here, I actually thought it was a big cupcake place based on the pictures. Let me tell you, looks can be deceiving and don't allow pictures to give you any expectations because I know I was expecting a bigger place. Place is not big at all. Not that it matters... as long as the goods are good... we should be good LOL.I had pre ordered online a few hours ahead for a 5:00 PM pick up. Online ordering was easy. It will tell you if they are sold out of certain cupcakes. I had to go back to the previous screens a couple times to select different cupcakes because they sold out of some cupcakes as I was still ordering LOL.I kinda went crazy with the selections of cupcakes. I got two dozens of 12 different cupcakes. One box for my co workers and another box for me (of course I did LOL). I also got a couple minis because they ran out of their regular size on those two flavors. Total bill came out to be about $160+. You read right... $160+ bones! Paying for designer cupcakes at premium prices LOL. They were very pretty cupcakes... coloring was vibrant and design was creative. Each standard size cupcake averages about $6.00 and up. Each mini is about $3+. I said they better be good at them prices LOL.Here's my take on the cupcakes... and yes I tasted every one of them... no cupcake was left behind from my taste buds LOL...1. Mini Vanilla frosting too sweet, cake was moist though2. Mini Salted Caramel Cheescake topping was tasty, but cake was dense3. Lemon Bar frosting was delicious, lemon curd was tart, cake was dense but good when eaten with frosting together4. Strawberry best cupcake out of all of them, well balanced in overall sweetness from frosting to cake, well done!5. Cookies N Cream frosting way too sweet, cake was densely dry6. Red Velvet 2nd best, very tasty and moist, perfect cream cheese topping!7. Strawberry Shortcake very light, not overwhelming sweet8. Breakfast it's actually pretty good with a hint of savoriness, but probably would not get it all the time because it has bacon LOL9. Chocolate frosting was way too thick, cake was dense10. Veg/GF Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough dry and tasteless, did not like at all!11. Raspberry White Chocolate very nice raspberry filling, cake was yummy, white chocolate was too sweet to my liking though12. Churro way too sweet all around, disappointed because I like churros13. Snickerdoodle not sure how I feel about this one, does not taste like snickerdoodle at all and I like snickerdoodle cookie, it wasn't sweet and it was kinda tough from top to bottom14. Carrot cake has a slight bitter taste to it for some reason, frosting was okayAlright, that was a long recap above... that's what I get when I buy almost all their cupcake flavors LOL. There were a few I didn't buy, but will try them next time... you know I will LOL. My favorites are in this order... Strawberry, Red Velvet, Lemon Bar, Raspberry White Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake, Breakfast. 6 good ones out of 14 is not bad... can't be pleased by all... at least I have my go tos now LOL.Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, I didn't add any special instructions (don't remember if they had a space for it) when placing the order online so they boxed the cupcakes in the order as placed. I wanted each box to have all 12 different cupcakes instead of 2 each up to 6 different ones that were originally in one box. The lady was kind to move the cupcakes around to my liking. Thank you miss! Atmosphere was nice and cozy even though it's not that big. They actually have next door, too, probably the kitchen where all the baking takes place or storage... not sure. As for pricing, it is quite high for a cupcake. But hey, you want your designe"
