"I had eaten at Catch in the past and was excited to return, but our experience wasn't as pleasurable. Our server was apparently not sober, as he asked us 4 times if we had a food allergy. He spilt 2 glasses of drinks on our table and into our laps. He grabbed a handful of beverage napkins to clean it up, which clearly did not touch the spillage, and he laughed. The manager came over, apologized, quickly cleaned up the mess, and replenished our drinks. After we ordered our appetizers and entrees our server didn't check on us. We had to call the manager over to order another round for the table. Our waiter returned to our table to pick up our appetizer plates and asked us again what we had previously ordered. He then went to the computer to put in our order. The manager again returned and brought us a sushi roll and apologized for the delay. The food was delicious and the manager was quite friendly. He did send over a complementary sushi roll and dessert, however, these were not things we asked to order. Had he just comped a round of drinks and replaced our waiter we would have been completely satisfied. This particular server was clearly struggling in his section as other customers were not getting their meals nor drinks. The manager was cleaning up his mistakes left and right. Hopefully the service will be more desirable next time."
