"I would give this restaurant more of a 4.5 rating! It had been years since my last visit to pub and kitchen, but I recently stopped by during the holidays for a meal. The Christmas decorations were amazing and created a cozy and festive atmosphere. We ordered the Italian hoagie dip, the wedge salad, and the Cacio e Pepe. The hoagie dip was absolutely delicious, especially when served with a hot croissant loaf. The wedge salad had great toppings and the everything seasoning dressing was fantastic. However, the Cacio e Pepe was a bit disappointing as it was overly peppery, making it nearly inedible. Despite this, I plan on coming back soon to try more items on the menu!"

"I do not recommend this restaurant. I had made a birthday reservation for two people, but when we arrived, the hostess seated us in the dining room, only for the server to inform us that they were full. As a result, we were forced to sit at one of the few tables near the bar. While the seating was acceptable, it was disappointing as I had specifically booked a reservation for my birthday. I only had one drink as I was not asked if I wanted another or anything else. I felt like they did not have space for us and did not want us to stay for long."

"A wonderful setting and frequented by the yachting crowd off the boats in the adjacent marina. Can get very loud. Food was pretty good this year, an improvement over past two years. Staff is young and for the most part, extremely aloof; they act like they would much rather be somewhere else and limit their conversation with customers. Cru does not answer their phones, amazingly and annoyingly. It's either reserve via Open Table or show up and take a chance on this very busy place."

"This was our third time dining here. The first time was our anniversary which was an incredible experience including the food, service, and ambiance. We actually enjoyed it so much we took our daughters for a family dinner. The service wasn’t as stellar but they were busy so we overlooked the experience and decided to go back for New Year’s Eve but early as to avoid the rush. I believe we were the first party to be seated where we sat for the next 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to even greet us. Which was weird because they were all standing at the bar talking. Our waiter seemed annoyed and when he came to the table it wasn’t to introduce the menu he simply said do you want to order food… umm yeah, can we start with a beverage and maybe an appetizer first? How about some bread? It was all so unprofessional. The food was bland, nothing special at all. Just disappointed and won’t return."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"
