"The night we were there they were definitely overwhelmed. We were attending The Glow and had made reservations to eat here before we walked over to view the pumpkins. It took nearly 30 minutes for our waitress to even take our order, and then it was hit or miss when she even returned! We had to get up and get our own silverware. We definitely were not the only ones that were having a problem with service, we saw multiple people up complaining to front desk. Our waitress could have done so much more to try make a bad situation better! They did end up taking half off our bill, and there was a wonderful lady who came around and tried to ease the situation. She said she didn’t work there, but did event planning, and saw that they were in a bad way, so she stepped in to try to help. We saw her more at the table then we did our waitress! Our order finally came out, but was incomplete, and again our waitress was no where to be found! We finally did make it to The Glow, which was absolutely spectacular, by the way! This was so unfortunate as it’s a beautiful setting at Fontanel, and I know I will attend future events out there, but will definitely make dinner plans some where else."
