"visited brugos several dozen times since they moved to this place. this visit was quite different and will not return. the menu prices have become ridiculous. eating was just fair. I ordered a pasta court with rigatoni only 20 minutes later to say that the kitchen was from rigatoni. on Saturday evening there was an incident in which the owner had a differentiation with a gas and caused a very unpleasant scene. I will not return."

"While staying at the Embassy Suits up the road I looking for a convenience store to pick up some contact solution. I figured I'd find something in walking distance so off I went! Well, I didn't luck out with that but I stumbled upon this awesome deli. I ordered a simple sandwich for dinner and it was perfect; exactly what I was looking for. The neatest part was that the staff thanked me by name as I left. Sure, they asked for it when I placed the order, but I was so enamored that they provided such sincere customer service. 10/10, so glad I stumbled on this shop on foot because I probably would have missed if I were driving."

"Great wine selections. Cheesy bread was off the charts! Huge pasta dishes. Plenty to share… ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and pan fried chicken on top of penne a la vodka. Scrumptious! Took more than half home. Had enough for two more meals. Really an overly generous portion. Service was decent. Our party greeted her before she said hello. Maybe a long day. Waited a long time for the check, then the boxes and then the receipt. But there was no wait on a busy Saturday so that’s something good for the busy holiday season. Will always return."

"Lena's restaurant has been in business for a long time due to its inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, delicious food, good service, and reasonable prices. Personally, I find the eggplant dish to be too thin and crispy, almost like eating fried breadcrumbs. I prefer a red sauce that sticks to the pasta better. Lena's is a popular choice for families, with easy access in and out. The service, food, and atmosphere all receive high marks, with recommended dishes including the Eggplant Rollatini. There is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot. Dining in for dinner typically costs between $20 and $30 per person."

"Absolutely amazing! So happy. We moved here from Chicago about 6 years ago and I’m always looking for a good deli and this is an amazing deli with incredible prices! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful gentleman. He was such a pleasure to talk to. I got the gyro w fries and my son got the turkey sandwich w cheese sticks. I haven’t seen gyros here since we moved and this was so good. It was even better than Chicago. The fries were great, too. Turkey sandwich w bacon and cheese was so good and fresh…just delicious! Bacon was freshly made. Cheese was truly delicious and so fresh. Turkey was amazingly delicious! Cheese sticks were so good. The breading was full of flavor and the cheese pulled apart like cheese should!! And the prices are ridiculously low. We will be back to try the hot dishes!!"

"Had an awesome experience at Mama 'n Papa 's Pizza Grotto. We ordered the feast for 2, which was enough to feed our family of 4. It came with salads, lasagna, spaghetti, and a pizza. All of it was great, definitely going back to get that again. The bread was also fantastic, can 't wait to try a sandwich there! The service was just as good as the food. Our waitress was so friendly, wish I could remember her name. You could tell she cared about making sure everything was exactly as it should be. The atmosphere is a exactly what you 'd imagine when you picture an old school Italian restaurant. I 'd be surprised if anything inside has changed since the day they opened, which does add some character to the place but also adds that slightly musty carpet smell. Not horrible, but it 's there. I 'm glad we tried Mama 'n Papa 's, and will be back the next time we 're looking for a great Italian dinner! Highly recommend you do the same."

"Terrible coffee! Usually, you can find a great coffee shop that serves delicious brews, but this place was misleading based on its name. Once inside, I quickly realized it doesn’t live up to expectations. It feels like many places in the area just slap "coffee" onto their menu without really knowing what they’re doing. The coffee tasted watered down and just plain awful. Additionally, the interior of the shop looks quite rundown and definitely needs some attention. I wouldn’t trust the food either. When I choose a coffee shop, I look for quality coffee, friendly customer service, and a cozy atmosphere—none of which I found here. I think I’ll just stick with well-known brands like Starbucks from now on."

"I’ve tried this place multiple times, and it feels like a gamble each time. Occasionally, I’ll receive something that's decent, but more often than not, it's just thrown together. I consistently order the same thing—a stromboli—but tonight, once again, I was disappointed. After a few bites, I realized there was hardly any meat in it. I called the store to speak with a manager because I’ve encountered these issues too many times. When the manager answered, he had a cocky attitude and suggested that maybe I should just order extra meat next time. Seriously? Maybe I just won’t order from you again! It seems like you’re being stingy with the meat, and you should be putting more in there—how can a large stromboli have the same amount of meat as a cheesesteak? To top it off, the service was rude and unhelpful."

"Absolutely terrible. This used to be my go-to spot. Today, I ordered a turkey BLT, and I could have made a better sandwich myself at five years old. The turkey was cheap and overly salty, all bunched up in the middle. As for the bacon—wow! I got three tiny, dry, burnt pieces. The bread fell apart as soon as I tried to take a bite. It was just awful. This will be my last visit here. I’m done. Buyer beware!"

"Great pizza. We got a large pepperoni to go and some garlic bread. While the garlic bread was good I was saving room for the pizza which was basically the best part of our day out. My one regret was they didn't have Coca-Cola, my favorite beverage with pizza. I had decided to wait until I got home to have a slice and a Coke to go with it. But that plan only lasted until the pizza was cool enough to eat, about 12 miles. ? I look forward to having Angelina's pizza again the very next time I am in Deland I wish I could add a photo, I took three, it was beautiful. If food can be beautiful. ? But as this is my first ever review I haven't figured out how to do that yet. But I will try again next time."

"We had an early flight the next morning and didn't have a car, so the hotel front desk recommended this restaurant because they offered delivery. We were happy that we decided to order dinner from this place! The food arrived promptly and was exactly the comforting meal we were looking for. I chose the rueben sandwich with fries and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Another person in our group tried the pastrami burger, which was also delicious. Our friend opted for the cheese calzone, and even though he ordered a small, it was huge! If you love cheese, this calzone is perfect for you as they definitely didn't skimp on it. Overall, it was a fantastic choice!"

"Website says that they close at 10:00, called at 9:15 to place a order to go for a desert (already made, just a slice of cake) and a salad. They said they were ?about to close the kitchen?. Even though she acknowledged that they closed at 10:00, and sheadmitted that they only had to pull the piece of cake out of a cooler... they were somehow not able to wait the 10 minutes forme to pick up my order OR make a salad that contained only tomatoes and cheese. It was also ABUNDANTLY clear that I wasinconveniencing her with just calling. I had looked at other reviews... it was interesting how many others had this sameexperience. Does owner not care? This is my second attempt with this place after a HORRID dining experience 2 years ago when theserver was both rude and ignored us even though the restaurant was empty. I will now continue to wholeheartedly agree with themany others that this place has horrible customer service and lack of any type of training when it comes to dealing with thegeneral public. I will be telling everybody that I know and placing this review on NUMEROUS other websites."

"THE BEST PEOPLE and excellent food. We were stranded in our car for hours due to a horrific storm. Michael's invited us in, including our stranded dog, whom we couldn't leave in the car. They gave our dog a meatball, and gave us a delicious meal. They were warm and caring, welcoming one trapped person after the next as we all sheltered in their restaurant. The food was awesome, but the staff were even more awesome. Please support this restaurant and show them your love."

"My boyfriend and I went to Chop Shop for a date night and had the best meal. I got the steak sandwich, and he got the pulled pork sliders which were a special. Great service and portions. I highly suggest for families, date nights, etc. There are also concerts downstairs in an event space that look super fun. Will go to a show next time I go."
