"We went to Salvatore's on our Wedding Anniversary and we will never go back. Waited an hour and a half for our food. No apologies from our sever for waiting so long. My chicken was burned my husband's pasta was overcooked. We told our server, they didn't care. Way over priced. We left a review on Google and we were told that if we changed our review to reflect a more positive experience that we would receive a $100 gift card. I'm not going to lie about my experience to receive a $100 gift card to go back and have the same awful food!"

"The restaurant is now named Tavolo. It was absolutely fantastic!!! We did the Miami spice. The room was set up wonderfully. It could use new carpet, but was fine. The service by Emi was above and beyond. The tomahawk steak we cut with our butter knife. The lobster bisque had big chunks of lobster. They have happy hour with prosecco and wine for $5-$6."

"It was raining , cold and lunch time so only the inside was open. There is a large outside eating area that looks very nice. Inside was small but not crowded. we ate at the window and did not worry re covid. At lunch there is a prix fixe $27 plate with soup, 2 appetizers a large makn dish and rice. We worried it would be too much but it came all on a large plate/tray and was fine , only a little large. The food was all delicious . WE will definitely return."

"My mom and I went here for brunch. We like to ramble around Portland and try out different spots and we had originally written off Imperial because we thought the menu was too plain. OMG WE WERE SOOO WRONG! The items they had on the menu were simple with a twist. I had the best fried chicken of my life here. So moist on the inside but crispy on the outside. I brought my leftovers to my boyfriend who ate it 2 hours after we got home which was actually about 4 to 5 hours later and he said it was still just as crispy. Don’t know how they did it but bravo. The only bad thing was we said we wanted boxes for our food and our waitress somehow thought we wanted our food thrown out so she tossed it but she was nice enough to make us another meal on the house to compensate."

"We ordered several appetizers at the hotel restaurant, and the staff was excellent. When we mentioned that we wanted to share the soup, they brought it out in two portions to make it easier for us, which was a pleasant surprise! Together, we ordered three starters, and by the end of the meal, we were completely full. The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous! The wine was also quite nice, though a bit pricey, so keep that in mind if you decide to dine here. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and found the service to be exceptional as well."

"I like North Gate Grill for business lunches because of its ambiance, good menu choices, and excellent service. The restaurant is usually an easy place to get a table and an easy place for conversations. It fills up when the hotel (Capital Hilton) hosts a conference, but otherwise is spacious and open with a very pleasant street-level view of 16th Street NW from large windows that fill the dining room with light. The menu has salads and sandwiches which I have almost always found to be well-prepared and tasty. Many of the servers have been there for quite some time."

"The menu has changed since my last visit. I ordered chicken and waffles , a dish I’d had before at a different restaurant. At Zers’s Cafe, the waffles were undercooked and bitter. The chicken was over cooked and had more breading than meat. I was very disappointed. My friend had a mushroom burger and tater tots and loved them both."

"Last night, I picked up a takeout order from this restaurant and I was very disappointed with the experience. I have ordered from here several times before and each time I went to the pick-up counter, like I usually do with other restaurants that use apps. However, the staff did not greet me when I arrived or when I approached the counter. I didn't think much of it at first, assuming they were busy helping other customers. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, I finally had to ask for assistance. When I showed them my mobile order, they criticized me for not going to the regular line and for not letting them know I needed help. They couldn't even acknowledge that they were wrong for not greeting me or assisting me promptly, despite me standing there for over 10 minutes. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and I have decided not to order from this restaurant again. They argued with me about how a customer should act to receive help, even though I have over 30 years of customer service experience."

"First visit after the matinee at The Ogunquit Playhouse with 2 friends. The bar offerings were deliciously eclectic with specials infused with honey and herbal tinctures and our mixologist was friendly and knowledgeable. The dinner menu offerings were diverse and adorned with herbs, flowers and vegetables right from the extensive gardens on property. Loved the roasted carrots with a lavender infused butter, the TVH Tots were creamy inside and crisp out, and roasted oysters perfectly done. My Rainbow trout was melt-in-your-mouth good with a toasted quinoa side that included Banana Peppers and Fennel from the garden. The incredibly creamy Gnocchi, with TVH kitchen garden turnip and pecorino was amazing. Desert included Pistachio madeleines, Carrot cake with brown butter cream cheese and a Blanton's Bourbon for me. Definitely returning in the near future!"

"I really love this restaurant. I usually stick to my favorite, the #2 Avocado Smoothie with Matcha, which I order 99% of the time. They offer a wide variety of loose leaf teas in bulk, and I have been experimenting with different flavors. The Peace-Of-Mind tea I tried was delicious! "Nervous from previous reviews, I called ahead of a jazz concert I wanted to see and was confidently told they would make their indicated menu items from scratch for any dietary restrictions including vegan. Upon arrival, the venue was incredible. It’s a lovely upstairs lounge looking over a lower level stage with room for dancing. There’s artwork in every direction and the staff is very friendly. The cocktail mock tail list is enchanting. The energy is tremendous. Food: it is a vegan options place, not a vegan place. Bummer since plant based would so match their vibe. BUT the fun guy pizza, the pretzel and mustard, the margarita pizza… honestly it was all really, really great with thoughtful flavors and textures. So while limited… if you see some music you’d like and have a hankering for pizza, you’re in for a wonderful time."

"The boba, smoothies, and the place is overall amazing. The only problem is they leave one worker to handle hoards of people. I can get that job shortages can affect businesses but this is kinda ridiculous. It'd be better if they had multiple people working on weekends when the shop is at its busiest so customers don't have to wait 30 minutes and the workers don't have to be rushing around stressed. I went here today and one worker had to deal with 2 families of 5 and maybe 4 other people all by herself, she even ran out of cups mid way and had to rush to get more. The kitchen area may be small but there is no way you can't find one other person to help out. I waited 30 minutes and more and more people just kept coming in."

"nice setting and good service, but I was very disappointed at the food I ordered. cheese appetizer had 4 very thin slices of a kind of cheese that was just okay. the companion-condiment was delicious, but instead of nuts crostini, how advertised there were rounds of hard, bland, stale-tasting white brot, that seemed from the rolls that they bring to each table (which were not very good to begin). the disappointing was disappointing. the gutter was hard, crispy and tasteless. I could not chew through them and after a few bites left the labor and left the rest uneaten. the small amount of colour and sunshake with which it came were decent. my friend ordered this healed and said it was pretty good. Maybe it was a night, but to spend $150 on this experience was really frustrating."
