"I have a weekend getaway nearby, and this place is my absolute favorite, especially for breakfast. In my opinion, this hidden gem makes the best egg sandwich from Long Island all the way to Canada. From my experience, 95 to 98 percent of delis on Long Island have forgotten how to craft a truly amazing egg sandwich. Most of the time, they’re just thrown together with rubbery bacon, tough bread, and barely enough egg and cheese to fill a slider bun. But not at Riverside! They have everything—deli items, pizza, wings, and even fantastic brownies. You really can’t go wrong here. Their pizza is top-notch, and the garlic knots are out of this world. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the locals who stop by for coffee are great company. Long live Riverside!"
