"First time to eat here! Salad bar was very good, everything was very fresh and plentiful! As far as the meats, I personally loved the Lamb Chops, and Shrimp the best. Everything else as far as meats and seafood were so so! A little over cooked and dry, some too salty as well. The sides, rice, potatoes and plantains were a nice addition, overall it’s a little rushed if you ask me, just saying. But unfortunately we tried it and I’m sure will not be returning back in the near future! That’s my opinion, my wife on the other hand was very disappointed in the meats! Felt it was all overcooked too. She enjoyed her wine though! We capped it off with dessert at Seaport gas station with a ice cream sandwich! That was the the best part of the evening"

"Sometimes the most spontaneous visits to certain places can be the best. And this is exactly what I experienced when visiting Endless Summer Sweets . They name all in itself sounds like either a candy shop or bakery. But it is actually neither. They are more focused on fair/carnival type food where you could get deep-fried Oreos, deep-fried Twinkies, funnel cakes, caramel apples, and ice cream as well as hand-dipped corn dogs and grilled hot dogs. Located directly on Shattuck Ave. and tucked in between Durant Ave/Channing Way in the heart of Berkeley, Endless Summer Sweets (which is open year round) has been serving the East Bay community ever since 2009. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I came here on a whim since I didn 't want a full-on meal and more of a snack to fill me up. I arrived at around 7:30pm on the evening of 10/16/21 and as expected, there was a long line of people waiting to get their comfort food. Which is a good sign since I knew I would be in for something good. I ended up ordering their Chicken Apple Grilled Hot Dog (for $5.00) complete with a small soda and a Mini Funnel Cake complete with powdered sugar strawberries (for $6.00). Total time it took was a rather quick 10 minutes even though there were nonstop customers in here. My hot dog arrives first and I was very impressed with the toasted hot dog bun and large portions they offered. I completed dressing this up with mustard, mayo, ketchup, relish. As far as the funnel cake, this was very delicious and 5-star worthy. It was so good I didn 't even take a photo of it (which is a cardinal sin for me since I ALWAYS try to snap a picture) prior to eating it. It definitely had that state fair taste to it and is something I could literally enjoy eating year-round. The interior of this place is fun, lively, and actually offers ample seating for families and couples. All in all, Endless Summer Sweets is an excellent above-average place that I highly recommend. The selection of sugary sweets in addition to cotton candy and popcorn is a place kids will love. And the hot dog/corn dog selection is sure to please people of all ages. When you factor in the ambiance, experience, customer service, prices, and quality of food, I would have to rate Endless Summer Sweets an above average four stars."

"This place is wonderful. It was like an oasis from the hot weather. We ate lunch, a group of 4... a couple of Filipino girls who were here for culinary training at Squaw valley, myself(Sous Chef, and trained in the art). We wanted to eat something delicious and yet within the budget... this place not only accomplished those traits, but it also was welcoming and friendly and fun. We decided to share our food, we orders Parmesan fries as an appetizer, it came with black truffle aïoli(which I admit was a great touch on the spelling) which was absolutely delicious. You can also get different styles of small plates like mussels, roasted asparagus, and marinated olives straight from California, and some delicious looking salads. But I needed something more than just a salad or a sandwich, especially after a day of taking in the sites! So the girls ordered a chicken sandwich that was supposed to be cut in half, but they were so nice enough to cut it into quarters! Ok I work in the industry and that is a rockstar move right there. That means that the waiter was relaying and communicating with the chefs about the table. They also went for the spaghetti and meatballs! Which were huge; at least baseball sized. And the sauce was sweet and yet hearty. And the fiancé and I went for the cioppino, and I must say it was delightful. The bread and croutons were delicious when dipped into the flavorful sauce! And while I went to sneak in to pay the check and to wash my hands, the woman of my dreams ordered a delicious chocolate cake that had a light dollop of whipped cream with crunchy toffee bits. Drizzled with chocolate sauce and a raspberry cooli. So decadent. And don’t forget to tip in cash!!!! Taxation is theft. Overall it was an amazing experience. Oh and my cocktail was the red sangria, and a true one that was light and yet flavorful. Thanks for reading!"

"Loud Drunks ! I work construction and these dudes were loud. I get it , drunks are loud but at 30 bucks a plate I expected a nice place to take the family. No one said anything to them and they chased out 2 tables before they got served . Couldn’t enjoy the meal although it came quickly, thankfully .Won’t be back with the family. If they just did booze and bands I would have been ready . Maybe Rick’s is going that way but the live music they had was terrible so someone needs to decide what kind of place it’s going to be."

"To be completely honest, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had made a reservation for a party of 17 in the Simi Private Room on Easter Sunday, 03/31. The service was incredibly poor - when I asked our server to assist my elderly parents with the salad bar, he refused and instead requested that I get the salads for them myself. After waiting for someone to bring over the meat options, we were only offered chicken legs and sausage, which was not what we had asked for. Despite requesting beef ribs and ribeye steak, these dishes never arrived. When I asked for scallops, we were presented with only 4 on a plate for our entire group. The pork ribs finally came out 10 minutes later, but there were only 3 for a table of 17. After enduring this subpar service for a few hours, we had to seek out the manager for assistance. Ultimately, we left feeling dissatisfied, paid our bill (which included a 20% gratuity), and went home to celebrate my father's birthday with a Chantilly Cake and Ice Cream. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Avenida Brazil."

"what I don't like is how late they open. I also need them to clean their grill when they make all the different types of meat. I also don't want to see black coal on my lambs and steaks. that is a clear indication that they do not clean their grill. also stop coming out with the commands. we come in to eat, and we take off from here, so if this facility wants to keep our business, they want to put it up. this evaluation is just to make you better. Apart from that, I enjoy this restaurant and the personal."
