"We went here for my mom’s birthday and had such an amazing experience! We came for the happy hour at the bar first, great cocktails! And the hostess was so nice to point out an open table for us. Then we made reservations for dinner and had a bottle of Chardonnay, a Brie and apple chutney appetizer, a salad with watermelon, feta, pomegranate seeds, onions, avocados, and more! So delicious! And then filet for dinner! We were so stuffed but it was all so great! The ambiance, the service, the food! The staff even came out with a chocolate dessert and sang happy birthday to my mom. 10/10 would recommend! "Absolutely wonderful time we went for our anniversary and they had the table set up so beautifully they even printed out a photo of us to keep as a souvenir, along with a champagne toast and free dessert! "2nd time here. 1st was 18 months or so ago. Two different experiences. This time there were only 5 people at the bar and we were the only table. Bar tender was the only person working the front. Beer is awesome! Food was still good. Service was lacking with only the bartender taking care of the front, and catering to the drunks at the bar. Out of some food that evening, so limited menu. Not nearly as many items on the menu as the first visit. Quality of food is still very good. Will eat at another place next time and come here only for dessert drinks (beer). What a shame. Cool little place."

"I felt hurried throughout my meal; I was never asked if I wanted dessert or another cocktail, and I received the bill almost immediately. They didn't have the dish I wanted, and when I asked about it, I was informed that they didn't have the necessary ingredients. Interestingly, I spotted the same dish being prepared for a catering event at the restaurant. Overall, the food was quite good, so I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5."

"This restaurant has an extensive menu, and I'm not even sure where to begin! However, I do know a thing or two about BBQ. I started Hoggy's back in the '90s, so I have some expertise in this area. Since we closed Hoggy's a couple of years ago, I've really missed good BBQ, but Big Walnut Grill has quickly captured my heart with their amazing offerings! Their food is outstanding! It's almost as if they've discovered Hoggy's recipes and improved upon them! If I had to highlight just one dish, I have to say they serve the best brisket I've ever had in Ohio—no contest! They also offer a fantastic cheeseburger topped with freshly made onion straws. It's definitely one of my favorite burgers in Central Ohio!"

"The service was not great. I asked about a few entrees and the server made up answers because we ordered based on his description and they were all wrong. When you ask if their are thighs with the chicken and waffles and are told no, you don’t expect to see thighs but there were not one but two!! The server had to he hunted down for the check and again to pay. Water must have been scarce also as our glasses were barely refilled and then only upon request. The same with coffee. We never had an opportunity to order a second drink because of the disappearing server. I don’t see how you can have a time limit when the servers disappear."

"This place is just OK. We were there early evening of Sat, 4/23/22. In my opinion this is a 3 4 Star restaurant and here?s why: I ordered medium lamb chops as my appetizer, they brought the ?well done? luke warm lamb chops AFTER bringing us our entrees and the only reason I got the lamb chops at all is because I asked the waiter where they were. I chose not to return them. they did taste OK just overcooked for my taste and again they were not warm enough again JUST OK. The shrimp scallop noodles were good. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal which you?ll see a pic of. Will we visit again?? we might give them a 2nd try to see if they can do better. Our waiter was nice and offered his apologies however."

"Absolutely fantastic food! This is definitely the place to get a hearty meal in Pembroke. The beer selection was impressive, offering something for every palate (I even tried banana bread beer for the first time in a restaurant!). The Bretzel star was amazing—the mustard had a delightful kick, and the Gouda cheese was just right. The turkey plate was another excellent choice, featuring rich gravy and delicious turkey with cranberry and stuffing. The French onion soup was on point, perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. The pot roast beef was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!"

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"This place is a little weird, but always have good beer. The other BBC's are pretty nice places, this One is like a classic dive bar. It's right off the main street in Plymouth, with a public parking lot right next to it, so it's a really great location. Place to just kind of dive. Furniture is pretty beat up, you definitely have your regulars who take up most of the bar downstairs, the place is tiny and darkly lit. But like I said good beer, sometimes you just got to wait"
