"Our family went out to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, but the experience was quite disappointing. Three of us arrived a bit late, and the hostess and manager refused to seat us with the rest of our group. They claimed that the table next to our party was reserved, despite the restaurant being only half full at most. There was plenty of space available for other large groups. We simply asked if we could switch the large table for two smaller ones, which would have allowed the latecomers to join without losing any seating. Unfortunately, management declined our request.
We would have understood if the restaurant were packed and had a long waiting list, but that was not the case. As a result, we had to sit at a separate table for the entire evening. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the food ordered by the latecomers was included with the main group's order. We asked to split the check based on the tables, but the waiter told us this wasn't possible since we were considered one group. We stood our ground, and after some back and forth, the restaurant finally agreed to split the check but automatically added an 18% gratuity for the smaller table of three!
The food was just okay, but overall, we won’t be returning. We hope the owners read this review and take the necessary steps to improve their customer service."
