"We expected a lot from Modavie but were sadly disappointed on this recent Saturday evening. When we arrived for our reservation, we were asked to stand to the side for 5 minutes, which turned into at least ten. Then our server did not appear with anything except menus for a long while. During the course of our meal, four different people delivered food, no one asked if we wanted ground pepper on the Caesar salads (squished into a too small bowl), no one refilled water etc. My husnand’s lamb chops were delicious but my Basque chicken was adequate at best. Side vegs (extra order) were lukewarm. The noise was cacophonous (live music from upstairs in particular). Wish we had gone on a quieter evening for the restaurant. We might have had a much better experience."
