"Hostess didn't know how to confirm reservation told me the system was broken then said the restaurant was under new mgmt and they didn't tell her anything . That was after she told me it would be a 40 minute wait and I was surrounded by empty tables. The manager finally came had us seated and our server was terrific! I stopped another young lady on the way out and told her that I wanted to confirm my reservation was confirmed with open table and she saw it immediately and took care of it. Hostess should be trained or let go. She probably was just ready to leave and had to stay because of the 3 employees that came in all together late."

"Lunch buffet is only available for those under 20 years old. The atmosphere is great. The food consists of fresh, high quality ingredients, with the standout being the simple salmon Nigiri and the special role with spicy salmon and crab. "I've been here a handful of times. Burgers and fries have always been my go-to, the Woody's hot rod and the bacon-cheddar burgers are the ones I typically get. Mushroom and Swiss is good but not earth-shattering. The steak sandwich was pretty good; not overcooked. "We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and perfectly prepared. The salads are crispy and dressed properly, and the wine list is huge and tasty. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top quality food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos, and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and local food to celebrate small businesses ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"I have to say I found this place by mistake. Wanted a burger and yes they have alot to pick from. Food was out fast and was great. I had the HURT LOCKER. Only reason ans I mean only reason for 4 stars was the service. I walked in and there was 4 peoplesitting at 1 table and not another person. Lady took me to a table and left....I had to ask for a menu had to ask to order adrink....each time she would roll her eyes even more....like she was so busy with the NO other tables she was serving ....... imsorry it was a slow day for you should have been glad to have a table......if your day was that bad go home...... but with thatsaid next time im in nashville I would go back to try another burger maybe the big nasty"

"As long as I have lived in this area and worked in Deadwood I have yet to go into the pump house and I've always wanted to. I will! and I didn't know that you still served food, And I love glass art. So I have to make that one of my stops before winter Maybe when I'm out pounding the pavement this next few days looking for work I've walked past more times than I can say and hundreds of times drove past. "It’s really disappointing to see a local business—one that I used to love—become so focused on making money that it forgets to foster a community atmosphere. I completely support local businesses, but I think it’s worth noting that my partner did order something, and I have frequented many establishments where it’s perfectly acceptable for one person in a group not to order anything—especially when they’re not interested. Overall, my experience at Bob’s Java Hut was extremely frustrating and discouraging. I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. As a person of color, I didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed being confronted in such a passive-aggressive manner by a middle-aged white woman. One would hope that working in the service industry would equip someone with better people skills, but it’s clear that there’s significant room for improvement. Do yourself a favor and head down the street to Caffetto, where you’ll find a much more welcoming community."

"The 1.5-hour wait was absolutely worth it! The service was great and the food was amazing. We started with the fried pickles as an appetizer, and I had the farmhouse burger. It was cooked to perfection, and the egg was spot on too. My fiancé ordered the Elvis burger, which features fried banana, peanut butter, bacon, and a hamburger all in one. She declared it fantastic! And I must say, the sweet tea was to die for. Overall, we’re giving this place a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend everyone to give it a try!"

"Customer service is good for the most part, but I keep have issues with my food after I leave. When I ask for something I expect to get what I am paying for. The first time I had a problem I requested a sandwich that came with avocado, but when I got back to my office there was no avocado. I called and was told they were out of avocado and that is why it wasn't on my sandwich. Something I should have been told upon ordering the sandwich and I would have changed my mind. Today, I went in initially for a cheese pizza because I didn't want to walk in the rain to Subway. I explained to the gentleman that I was pescatarian and he suggested the shrimp and grits. I get back to my office to find only 2 shrimp on a plate that I just paid almost $11 for $10.74 to be exact). I would have just stuck with the pizza if that was the case. This is misleading and extremely disappointing. Just make sure your customers are actually getting what they pay for."
