"My boyfriend and I came in this past Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arriving, we found out that our reservation was at 6pm instead of 6:45 so we had missed our time slot! What would’ve been a devastating moment was quickly saved by the gracious staff who were incredibly accommodating and had us seated in minutes!! They seated us in a corner booth and were quick to bring over water and bread while we pondered over the delicious menu. Drinks arrived quickly after ordering and so we placed our orders for our main course. Eventually our food came but not without our waiter coming over...with complimentary champagne to apologize for the wait and to congratulate our anniversary!! (It didn’t seem like the food took a long time but maybe we were just deep into our conversation lol . The food was delicious, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere was perfect whether you’re looking for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for 2! We will DEFINITELY be coming back :"

"Their location is great because of the views of the Lagoon. Food was lacking, ordered the salmon and expecting crispy while it was cooked right (med rare) I didn’t care for the sauce all over it. Zucchini flowers preferred ricotta stuffed over mozzarella made it hard to eat. Almost felt like we were eating a fried Jalapeño popper. Scallops were cooked nice. We drank all of our water and no one came to fill it up. Overall decent Italian food but no where near Italian food when we were in Italy."

"Everything was wonderful. Prices were reasonable and the food was tasty. So good we weren’t able to snag a picture of our panini(we could resist a bite). We ordered some very tasty wine along with a tray of various meats, cheeses and small salads(the Italian kind, not the lettuce kind). It was the perfect amount to pair with our wine and not leave us feeling miserable. We followed with a panini that had various meats and artichokes(I forgot the name) that I highly recommend. This would be a fun date night or friend night that offers a nice change of environment."

"This is my go to reliable, sumptuous and intimate restaurant especially at sunset in Del Mar! Service is incredible (thank you Katya! , the food is mouth watering and sumptuous, cooked to perfection. From the fresh bread to the appetizers (love the artichokes , the incredible salmon prep, risotto, pasta… I’m sure the meats and seafood are incredible, as everyone around me looks happy and a clam (no pun intended! but since I’m just an old fashioned veggie and fish person, I’ll just personally attest to that. Desserts and decaf espresso are the best, too. Love it!!!"
