"I have never written a bad review on any establishment. We have been patrons of this Uncle Julio 's location for quite some time, and I will not be going back after our experience the other night. From beginning to end, it was atrocious.We arrived with a reservation, and after waiting a while, we asked how much longer it would be to be seated.We were told a few more minutes . After this had happened two other times while we waited an hour, the head hostess said Your reservation must have fallen out of our system. With no apology AT ALL, we were then seated upstairs. It took quite some time to get our drinks. When we ordered our meal, I asked for the steak fajitas..without the peppers.The waitress said that they cook the vegetables earlier in the day with peppers, and that my request was not able to be honored. PRE-COOKING any food like this at a restaurant should be concerning. It took several times of asking for our drinks to be re-filled. When our order came, my son 's was incorrect, and they were not apologetic or polite when we asked for it to be corrected. My steak fajitas arrived to the table not sizzling...just warm..and they did not bring tortillas with it. After waiting on the tortillas to arrive for 10 minutes, my food was cold by the time they arrived. The portion was very skimpy. 5 or 6 pieces of meat...and that was it. The vegetables could have fit in one spoon. The manager brought my son 's re-done meal to the table and said So sorry. Here you go. After requesting the check...and waiting 15 minutes, ANOTHER server saw us and asked if we needed anything. We said we had been waiting for 15 minutes for the check and would like to pay. I don 't know what he told our waitress, but I saw him walk up to her and say something to her. Within a few minutes, she came to the table....plopped the check on the table, and did not even say thank you.I paid and left. Our opinion of our experience there was not a positive one. We won 't be going back."
