"Met up with a friend for brunch I hadn't seen in a long time. The menu is so drool-worthy it makes it hard to decide. Huckleberry Crepe, Oatmeal French Toast, Dungeness Crab Benedict, scrambles, pancakes, etc. I highly recommend reservations. I made them a week in advance and when we got there, there was a line and lots of people waiting outside in the sun for a table. We walked in, gave our names, were asked to wait to be called, then 30 seconds later they called and seated us. We were offered coffee right away however I chose to get iced tea. When I took my first sip I had to do a double take. It was so nice. Contained a slightly floral taste but naturally sweet it required nothing else. Breakfast arrived in a nice amount of time. My friend got a scramble that looked wonderful. She was a little off-put as the sausage had been cut up and scrambled along with all the other deliciousness. I explained it was a scramble and all but what is listed separately (potatoes toast) is supposed to be scrambled in. That made her feel better. For me, I received the Seattle Benny. Fresh crab, avocado, arugula on an English muffin and topped with the lightest, most flavorful hollandaise sauce. I'm not sure how it can be that thin and so flavorful. I could taste the butter and lemon very nicely. Following brunch, I was headed to visit a friend whose cancer had returned and was in the hospital not far away. She hasn't had much of an appetite but if I could bring her something that she might like, I was all for it. She reviewed the menu online and let me know the oatmeal French toast sounded good. This was ordered to go so I never got to see what it looked like until she opened it and moved it onto a plate with the exception that this meal came with a trip to the fresh berry bar. I got her a nice bowl of fruit and much to my surprise she ate everything. Talk about making me smile but really making her day. Thank you for the amazing food. I'll be back!"
