"When we finally ordered two entrees, the first one arrived within five minutes but was poorly prepared and unappetizing. We didn't receive the second dish until nearly ten minutes later. Even though there were still Uber Eats orders being taken and picked up, we felt rushed out the door, despite it being less than ten minutes until closing. I've never experienced such rude and unprofessional treatment before. EDIT: I've attempted to call and speak with someone about this issue twice, but both times the same person who served us hung up on me. This is truly disappointing."

"It's an authentic Mexican spot I presume run by real Pueblanos in the Bronx. I've had the Al Pastor, Barbacoa de Chivo, Bistec Gorditas, Tacos Americanos, Pollo Gorditas, Bistec Tacos, and Pollo Tacos. Note that real Mexican tacos don't come with cheese for that you have to get the Americanos. For the price this is a good spot although I've had better elsewhere. Also, I wish delivery was faster every time I order it takes quite some time for the food to come and I don't live too far from it."

"We were very disappointed with our visit to Tacos Morelos. There was a 20% service charge for table service that wasn’t mentioned on the menu or communicated by our waitress. Having dined here several times before, we had never encountered such a fee. It felt like a hidden charge, and on top of that, they still expected a tip, which we gave. Unfortunately, we’ve decided not to return. I would advise others to be cautious of this unexpected service fee. The dining area was completely empty, with us as the only customers. I can’t recommend this place due to the undisclosed service charge that wasn’t listed on the menu or explained verbally. The waitress said it was printed on the bill, but we found that very frustrating. This really spoiled our special anniversary celebration."

"This tiny Mexican restaurant may be small, but it serves fantastic food. I ordered a Mexican burger, which came with avocado slices and tasted incredible. It was accompanied by wonderfully crunchy fries, making for a hearty and filling meal. At $14, I felt it was worth the price. The chips and salsa provided at the table were also excellent and helped curb our hunger as we waited. The chips were clearly fresh and had that satisfying crunch that you crave. Our server was very friendly and attentive, which was understandable given the restaurant's size; I would have been concerned if she weren't present in such a tight space. There’s a sink conveniently located near the tables for handwashing, and there’s also a public single restroom at the back behind the kitchen. Overall, this is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. It was my first visit to Tarrytown, but I would definitely return to try something else from their menu."

"These tacos were absolutely amazing! I tried the crispy tripe, lengua, and carnitas, and opted for the carnitas in a crunchy American-style taco. It was incredibly crunchy, and I loved the texture—it’s something I haven’t experienced before in Texas. The tripe was cooked to perfection, literally melting in my mouth. The orange sauce was delicious, spicy, and packed with flavor. I can’t wait to come back and explore more items on the menu. My partner had the chicken tacos, which were full of flavor, although they were a bit on the dry side. However, the great taste made it a minor issue. If you visit, be sure to try at least one of the crunchy American-style tacos. I had five tacos and a glass of Coke for just $22—an excellent lunch for you and a friend!"

"The best tacos on the Northside are tastier and fresher than ever at the restaurant's new location in Uptown. They consistently provide excellent service and are prompt in their delivery. The prices are quite reasonable. While street parking is pay, it's generally easy to find a spot within a block of the restaurant. They offer a lunch menu with lower prices, but I usually find myself dining here for dinner. My favorites are the burrito bowl or a bowl of white pozole (loaded with all the toppings). Whatever you choose, you can count on it being delicious and satisfying."

"I've already eaten here and the food was great and the service is fine. Not bad. But I brought some friends here for the first time a day to share my experience, we waited 20 minutes for the waitress to finally come to our table. When she finally came after our signals, which she did not ask us what we wanted to drink or order, we stood there with her pad and pen, we had to ask her if she wanted to start with drinks first or also take orders for meals, she replied that it doesn't matter as if it simply wanted to get it, with and took all our orders. After we got our meals, we realized that we had no napkins or forks and knives and had to go to the counter and inform them, came and put it on our table without good disposition or smile or any questions whether we needed anything else and never came back. There was a strange odour from the bathroom, but we didn't want to get any more posture with the waitress so we didn't mention it. Our friends are pretty cold and we still have a great time and apologise for how maybe she had a bad day. But that was the first time I've ever felt like not even giving tips. The food itself has always been delicious, but it's kind of disappointing when you say great things about a place to your guests and then it turns out that it's not what they thought was the experience."

"Absolutely fantastic! I'm not sure why Silva's doesn't have better reviews. My fiancé and I visited the other night, and we were really impressed. The fish burritos were both large and packed with flavor, and the fish tacos were also incredible. The shrimp quesadilla was tasty, although there was a bit too much empty tortilla. After trimming off the parts without filling, I ended up with a quesadilla that was still a decent size, considering it started off so big. The woman at the counter was incredibly sweet as well. An added bonus: if you spend $20, you get five rolled tacos for free, and they accept credit cards. I enjoyed it so much, and the leftovers the next morning tasted just as good!"
