"This restaurant was around the corner from our hotel, and we had a late arrival on the first day so I made reservations here based on walking distance, menu and reviews. First, it IS BYOB, and that is nice. There is a wine shop directly across with a decent selection. Perfect. Lovely atmosphere. The night we arrived it was raining, and the pedestrian only avenue that this restaurant is situation in was deserted, and so was the restaurant. I think we were one of only three tables that night. But that meant we got to sit right in the window. The food was very good, but not great. For starters we had foie gras and escargots. The escargots were quite nice, but the foie gras was only ok in my experience. My mother had filet mignon, and I had the breast of duck. Both were very nice. The service was good too. When we passed by this pedestrian square the next night which was clear/no rain it was crowded with people, so I imagine the restaurant was full then too. I'm glad we got to have it to ourselves on the first night."
