"This is one of the many Italian restaurants in Bronx's Little Italy off Arthur Ave. We had just finished moving our son into Fordham for the year and took time to celebrate his birthday with some school friends. I chose Gerbasi because it was on Open Table and the ease making a reservation. We had appetizers: traditional antipasto Italiano, octopus salad, and mozzarella caprese. All very good with fresh ingredients. For dinner I had chicken piccata and my wife had veal marsala. The chicken piccata was perfect, but the veal marsala was a little salty. My son is vegetarian and had the penne alla vodka. Large portions are served. We were disappointed when the desert options we wanted were not available. Otherwise a very nice dinning experience. They have an outside courtyard that was very nice that I would request the next time if the weather is good."
