"Be prepared for longer lines; the demand for their incredible food is high. My advice is to plan accordingly and expect to wait a bit as the husband-and-wife team manages both walk-up and online orders. If you're as hungry as I was, consider ordering more than you think you’ll need to avoid missing out. While I was waiting, a friendly rabbit in the park kept me company. I thought about going for seconds but hesitated, not wanting to face another wait. I know I’ll have to return soon to satisfy my BBQ cravings.
And did I mention those burnt ends? Hours later, I’m still thinking about them. They typically close around 7:30 PM if orders slow down, even though their sign says 9 PM for certain nights. The owner even took the time to come out and apologize for the wait during a lull in orders and check on us. His deep voice might come across as imposing, but he was genuinely kind and sincere. It was also a fun surprise to learn that he has friends in Guam, where I’m from. As their motto says, it’s fresh food, not fast food."
